kimpooh19
I like to do a lot of dvd's or video games. (Our stockings are HUGE!) LOL. It takes a lot to fill them some years. For my younger ones, stuffed animals are always a favorite and a quick way to fill them, haha. What do you do?

tracy0504
All the things I don't want to wrap [emoji23][emoji23] although over the years I have graduated to also using gift bags to hold stocking items because the stockings aren't big enough to hold the throws... I usually try and put candy, their favorite snack item, gift cards, lotion, body spray...
speeddiva
Candy, CDs, thumb drives, chap stick, gift cards...pretty much anything small that would get lost under the tree.
colemandawn4905
Toothbrushes, fun socks, favorite candy, chap stick, combs/brushes, silly string, whoopy cushions, etc. I got the dollar tree for a lot of the driving stuff.
rockpzazz
I don't have kids, but I remember growing up I always enjoyed when the adults put lottery tickets into my stocking. I didn't really win most of the time, but a time or two I'd win 10 bucks, so that was fun. I also use to get movies, and since I collected baseball cards, I use to get all kinds of trading cards, they fit perfect into a stocking. Plus they make trading cards almost anything now. I like the idea of flash drives, I'd probably like gift cards too. Dollar Tree is also a perfect place to get some cheap stuff.
bluebear
Besides the usual candy and gift cards and other little things, I also try to put accessories for their bigger gifts in the stocking. (We do stockings last). Model or gaming miniature sets: paints, exacto knives, brushes Turntable: cleaning suppliesGame console: case, game, memory cardOr little things related to their interest: cool dice, nice mechanical pencil, small tools When the kids were smaller, I sometimes would have so much little stuff, especially for my daughter, that I would end up putting it into a gift bag and putting it under the tree! She doesn't live at home now and doesn't have a stocking, but I still fill her a gift bag. A couple years ago when she got to that bag, she exclaimed "Oh it's my stocking!"

starbeck96
My mom passed away a little over 3 years ago. She always did a stocking for everyone in our family. After she passed away, I decided to carry on the tradition. We no longer do a stocking Christmas morning, only for the Christmas with my dad.**I will get all of the women, girls, and my nephew a new Christmas ornament to put in their stocking. I also will get all the women and girls a pack or pair of socks. My daughter saw some Peanuts socks at Walmart yesterday and she told me she wanted them for Christmas. So I will put those in her stocking. For my sons (they are 22) I will put their favorite bodywash, gummy worms (this is a tradition), pack of gum, and maybe a 5.00 gift card to a fast food restaurant. For my 14 year old daughter I will do chapstick, gummy worms, a 5.00 gift card to fast food restaurant, maybe a CD, and maybe other candy. For my niece (she is 13): her favorite candy, a gift card for Roblox, a pack of gum, and a few other small items (I will talk to my sister to get a few more ideas) For my nephew (almost 3): I am not sure. He has so many cars that he doesn't really need anymore..lol. I will see if I can find a Toy story figure and, then maybe get him some type of candy he likes. For my daughter in law and future daughter in law: I will buy their favorite candy, a gift card to Starbucks for each of them, and a few other small items. For my husband: I always do a pack of socks (and usually underwear, but I won't give those in front of everyone..lol). I will get him his favorite candy and candy bars, and probably a gift card to Hobby Lobby. For my dad: I will do a gift card to a local restaurant, and some chocolate covered cherries. For my sister's boyfriend I will have to ask my sister, because I have no idea...lol

lucyismycat
I do two stockings for our boys (ages 9 and 10). One is a regular stocking with gum, chapstick, toothbrush/toothpaste, itunes gc, Roblox card for one kid, Vbucks card for the other one, favorite candy, soap and an orange for each of them. We have a PS5 and an XBox series X coming, so I will pick up some gift cards for games or whatever (Xbox live subscription, I guess) and add those, although this will complicate the timing of stocking opening a little. The other stocking is all sports related. They both play hockey, so things like: sock tape, stick tape, stick handle grippy tape or buttendz, skate laces, usually a new mouthguard (by that point in the season the ones they're using sometimes look like chew toys lol), any swag I can pick up at tournaments for their team, team keychains, bag tags, helmet decals, stick stickers, skate socks, stick wax for the skater, helmet sweatband for the goalie, any t-shirts that have come throughout the year from a hockey subscription gift box we do every month, skate guards if they need new ones, etc. This year I'll add a microSD card to the goalie's stocking for the GoPro we got to record his games. I have some stockings that are shaped like hockey skates, so we use those. I think it could translate to just about any sport, and they really get into it. I like that it's mostly all stuff that I would buy anyway, and it just happens to come halfway through our season so usually they are running low on some things (NEVER sock or stick tape, but I buy it anyway lol). I bet there are going to be a lot of face masks in stockings this year. I will probably add some hockey-themed ones to our stockings just for fun.
Reinholt1
Coal. Definitely Coal. I can think of a few people that need to find coal in their stocking this year.
