Stowasser Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Before children, I had burgundy, rose and white ornaments with glittery tulle, after children it was more eclectic LOL I have seen all snowmen, or Star Wars, pretty cool
Coastiwife Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Our main tree Is a mix of ornaments collected over the years. I do have a 4ft tree that I put in my dining room that is themed. This year it is candy land. In years past the tree has been decorated in gingerbread men, dr suess, red apples and red and white striped bows, snowmen and leopard print which my husband was not at all fond of lol. 1
bluebear Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 I have a gingerbread and candy theme for my house, including my tree. My wrapping paper also matches the theme. 1
floridasun5 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Since I live in Florida, my tree is beach themed Aqua blue and clear/ white ornaments, white lights, silver ribbon, fake palm fronds and white starfish.Wrapping paper matches and I usually get blue or silver themed papers. 2
Stowasser Posted November 25, 2017 Author Posted November 25, 2017 would love to see some pictures of your themes, really sounds fun. I did once have an all barbie ornament one, as I collect dolls 1

ilikefree Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Ever since each of our sons' 1st Christmases, we've bought them an ornament each Christmas season so our tree has always been a mish mash of different decorations. Now that they're older, I think I want to try just a single color or a combination of a couple different colors this year. Not sure what I'll end up with but look forward to trying something different.
HanShotFirst Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Well, he’s not exactly on the tree but still part of my theme. Found him at Big Lots yesterday. 1

budgetsRsexy Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) We only had a color theme (red, white and silver) our first year with a dog. We didn’t know how Oreo (black lab mix) would be with the Christmas tree so we just did shatter proof bulbs the first year. Once we learned that he would leave the tree alone we went back to the ornaments that we had received from our parents each year growing up and ones we would pick up while on vacations together. We like the walk down memory lane as we decorate. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL Edited November 27, 2017 by budgetsRsexy
Kanyon71 Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Our themes are just usually things we pick up over the years and things our daughter has made for us at school. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
jesusluvu Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Not so much a theme but I do a different color scheme every other year.

chachn8r Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I'm a huge Arizona Cardinals fan. 5 years ago I purchased a black tree from Walmart and designated it my Cardinals tree. This is what it looks like today. Sent from my SM-G920P using GottaDEAL mobile app 4
avsfan Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 I've done many themes over the years, but found what I really love is the traditional look.
