Bopeep
I got my village up last weekend. Today I will work on the tree. I don't do much outside, but I have some lights I might put on the porch.
cinnamon16201
Wow....some beautiful trees here. I had major surgery 10/30 and still recovering, plus we will be going to DD for Christmas this year. I have a Norfolk Island Pine that is about 2' tall and when I saw some fairy lights on sale at Amazon I decided that it would be my tree! I have a ton of mini Hallmark ornaments and a few of those will go on. Ta-Da! DH will do the outside, just some red and white lights wrapped around the handrails, a lighted wreath on the porch, some ornaments in the bare trees and a few spiral trees. We live in a 55+ so there really isn't anyone who goes over the top.
tracy0504
OK, finally got my tree up after the recovery period (three days straight of BF shopping on about 2-3 hours of sleep)...lights are on it and I will probably decorate it with ornaments tonight... bluebear
My tree is up... Although I'm not loving it for some reason. Haven't had time to do much else. But mama is taking home the grandson today, so I won't have to spend every day at her house anymore. So hopefully I'll get some more done in the next couple nights! We will be on vacation the week before Christmas, so I am already losing a week.

avsfan
We got a new tree from Walmart on Thanksgiving. We put it up the next day, in honor of our cat's 13 year gotcha-versary. He loves the tree so much. He sleeps under it every day.
AndreaInNC
Bought my real tree from our state farmers market on Saturday. It made inside the house Sunday. It is still nekkid. I have to get up into the attic to start bringing the tubs of decorations down. Hope to finish it this week.
Kanyon71
Saw this article a few minutes ago. I thought we went overboard with 3 to 4 trees in our house. https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/community/brighton/2017/12/22/christmas-tree-house-brighton-michigan/963150001/
