Peppermint Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) I keep a running list all year. If DH or sons see anything through the year, I add it to the list. Makes shopping a breeze since I don't have to sit down and come up with stuff...lol. Anyway, DS16 #1 (and only gift) is asking for the apple watch. I'm sure I'll add in some socks and underwear for good measure. Edited August 19, 2015 by Peppermint 1
Midnight55 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 PlayStation 4 taken king bundle for me lol and movies and clothes 1
Bopeep Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 My youngest has joined the Marines and leaves for boot camp in October. Since for the foreseeable future he will be living in barracks, I could not come up with anything to get him! I finally decided on a nice laptop, and that will just have to be his only gift this year. I might get him a Google Play gift card as well. Anyway, I found a good deal for that last week so I'm pretty much done with him. Actually ON Black Friday, I will be looking for a GPS for the dil, and I'm hoping to score the Amazon Echo at an amazing price for myself . 2
Kanyon71 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 About the only things I'm really looking for are a MacBook for my wife to replace the one I bought her about 6-7 years ago. Possibly a TV for the Bedroom so the one in there now can be pushed out to my office or the workout room.
tinkrbel Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Not sure. Still don't have my new dslr but usually not a huge amount of deals on those. This may be the year i focus on clothes and gifts.
tyreejames Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Video game systems; I have one wanting an Xbox one and another who wants the wii u...it would be great if I can swing both.
shopping4my3son Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 More about size this year. We plan on moving next summer so I don't want lots of extras. I'm thinking gift cards to movies, music, bowling, go-karts, etc. Video games, movies, legos, and stuff for my middle sons train layout. Seems like the older they get the smaller the gifts.

Seems like the older they get the smaller the gifts. We are putting the house on the market next summer, too. I'm thinking of just doing a destination Christmas so we would be forced to buy only a few small gifts. My daughter wants a Fitbit and the trip would count as the adult gift. I have always wanted to see Biltmore decorated for the holidays. But 1/2 of the extended family probably wouldn't come. But then my husband really wants a 4K tv, and now that I have seen it, I want it too!
jesusluvu Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Not sure yet... DD's are getting bigger and doesn't require much....but I am looking and will be doing Angle Tree or Church adoptions this year so I will still be looking for the deals. 1
stevierocks Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 a cheap laptop for ds eric, as his screen is broken and he has to reduce the screen to the small corner, and that wont work well in college for long
nicole20 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Wireless beats headphones. I'm hoping to find a good deal because they are so expensive 3
berry1014 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 So far TVs seem to be at the top of our list this year. I dont see us buying as much or spending as much as we did lastyear.
magickallight Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I'm just kind of waiting on the ads this year - they always inspire me with gift ideas I didn't even think of. 3
laddhorn Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 4k TV. We cut the cord this year and stream everything from a genuine computer. The extra resolution should help when doing other things besides watching tv. 2

starbeck96 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) My 8 year old is wanting a trampoline. So, I am hoping they will be under 160.00 BF (and I believe they usually are). She has also mentioned a basketball goal, so I may get her one. I would really like one of the nicer ones, but we will see. She wants a WiiU, but after getting her an XBox last year and 3DS year before, I realize that she is just not big on video games, so I hate to spend that kind of money. My boys really have not said anything they want other than airsoft guns..lol. They are 17 and they said that they really want that so they can shoot each other..lol. Crazy boys. Of course, they have also said that they want clothes. I also want to get them a new TV and a Roku for their room. My husband and I also need a TV and Roku for our room. I am hoping to get some good deals on TVs And we may decide to get a bigger TV for the living room and us take that TV (out of living room) for our room. Edited August 27, 2015 by starbeck96

ytmomof4 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I really have no ideas this year.DS14 wants an alien laptop but that's not in the budget this year. The only for sure thing I know is the kids will get their season passes for kings island renewed.
maryfyeager33 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 American Girl Doll stuff, Lego Doc McStuffins and Lego Friends. 1
Elmck Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I have no clue what anyone wants. I did most of the grandbabys at the Target Toy Clearance. My DD mentioned getting her kids beanbag chairs, maybe we'll get lucky.
riven3d Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Daughter wants a laptop she will be 15 this year so told her if she wants and we can afford it then she is going to have to go and stand in line to get it 1
dwc designs Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I need 2 Space Chariot Hover Boards and a new laptop. I purchased 1 of the Toshiba laptops from BB last year that didn't perform well at all. Figured that we could get away with a lower end laptop for my DD who was 12 at the time, but even after upgrading the ram that thing is deathly slow.
d56nut Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Hoping that walmart has one of their awesome Lego boxes again this year. My stepson is living in same state now and we see him every other weekend. He's 12 and he's a lego nut. Need to start building up his collection at our house!!!
HanShotFirst Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 vacuum.......shark or Dyson. Also am going to consider a new laptop for myself if I can get the same or similar deal my mom got from BB last year. She and my dad both love the laptops she got.
