ChristusG
My daughters want some Lego sets for Christmas. I know that Walmart usually has a good deal on a box of bricks, but they want actual sets. Are there usually good deals on sets? Specifically Ninjago and Lego Disney sets? I think I've seen things like the Lego City sets on sale, but I was wondering about others. I'm tempted to go ahead and buy now but I'm afraid I'll regret it! NovemberDiva
Good question! My ds wants lego city sets for Christmas and I was wondering if I should pull the trigger or wait.
momlori
You can get sets on sale but just have to watch for them. Target has done a BOGO offer in previous years
shopping4my3son
I think TRU has had b1g1 1/2 off in the past. Edited November 4, 2014 by shopping4my3son
arci122
Toys R Us and Target usually have them on sale. ACMoore has them often as well.

Jen08
My DS wanted legos last year and I was asking the same question. I ended up getting his from walmarts website. It was cheaper there than in their stores and at least $15 cheaper than anywhere else I had looked as well.
holly2hottie
If you have a Lego store check them out too, they had a deal one year that you got a higher percentage off the more you spent, up to 30 percent off. Target seems to have the best deals leading up to Black Friday. On actual Black Friday it seems only the bigger sets will go on sale.
irisbee
Barnes and Noble may have a percentage off coupon that you can use for legos.
momee2twins
If they want Fusion sets (the ones you use with the Lego master builder app) , get them now and hold on to the receipt, just in case. They are getting really hard to find.
jakesmommy403
Target has done some B1G1 1/2 off Lego sales in recent years at random times in November and December. Amazon had some really low prices on some of the Chima and Hero Factory guys last year. Definitely keep an eye out!
smurfgirl
I was able to get the lego friends Heartlake Mall for 94.99 today. It had been listed at 109.99 on Amazon, but they had a price reduction. Walmart price matched it!
momtodemons
I was able to get the lego friends Heartlake Mall for 94.99 today. It had been listed at 109.99 on Amazon, but they had a price reduction. Walmart price matched it! Check out your local Sam's if you are a member. I found Heartlake Mall there last week for $87.99! I couldn't find it online though. OH! I am a huge Amazon shopper, so I always check out www.camelcamelcamel.com when I'm expecting price drops. Several of the Lego Friends sets had HUGE price drops around the week of Thanksgiving last year, so something to look forward to, I hope! smurfgirl
I'm not a Sams member. I wish we had one here. Instead we have BJ's. If I find it cheaper I'll just return this set to Walmart.
123abc
I am looking for the jungle base set and see that Target has matched Walmart for the price and there was an additional 25% off toy coupon at Target plus you get $10 back if you spend $50 in the toy department. onemill
Where is the 25% target toy coupon? i am looking of lego friends sets, too and my daughter loved the jungle base set when we saw it in the store.
mommy2twingles
The 25% off coupon does not apply to Legos at Target. It is listed under excluded brands.
mcwalker
The Kmart ad has some Lego sets on pages 1, 24, and 32.
julieb
Toys 'r Us does a buy 1, get 1 at some discount BUT keep in mind they are usually higher than Target and Walmart anyway. Target does a sale, but is usually specific to a type. They really like to put the "city" ones on sale over friends or star wars, etc.
jaymacfla
This is my annual rant on the Lego question. If your children leave their toys lying around, Legos are absolutely the worst item to find on the floor in the dark as a parent. If they are well disciplined, Legos are worth every penny and are a wonderful toy to foster a child's creative side. As far as deals are concerned, look for store coupons that would help to bring down the price. As others have indicated, they tend to be specific to a theme when they do go on sale. leefamily23
I'm looking for some of the Disney princess lego sets and they don't seem to be any lower than on Amazon.
shopping4my3son
A $200 Lego set has been added to a wish list. Guess I need to start looking for a good sale. Amazon has it for $179. There's a Lego Store 1 1/2 hours away so I don't think I'd make it for Black Friday.
ChristusG
None of the sets that my girls want seem to be on sale for BF anyways....I bought them last week, Amazon had decent prices.
redraider25
Did yall see that 1600 piece Lego set for $30 in the Walmart BF ad? A similar set with only 600 pieces sells for $29.99 on Walmart.com so the black friday deal seems like a really great deal.
