We are having a sunny 66 on Thanksgiving and 70 on Friday here in NC!!!! I've done a lot of shopping online already but with that kind of weather on tap I can't help but venture out!!!

I went to TRU on Sunday morning about 8:30 am and was expecting a madhouse!! It was only me and 2 other customers. I was able to get my son's big ticket item out of the way early at the black Friday price!!! #winning

I placed my order around 10 am yesterday and store pick up was ready about 6 pm. They struggled to find all my items as apparently the just pick things from shelves and put them in random bins. Its not separated out in boxes like walmart but I thought it was cool that they have designated parking spots for pick up customers. I got confirmation that my other items shipped today!! Got a lot of gifts off my list already!! #winning

About half and half. My birthday normally falls around BF so I get myself something nice and spend my birthday money too!

I'm assuming I was part of that number as I received a message from you today about not getting my info. I sent an email with tracking info 3 days ago. Perhaps in the future there should only b one method of communication so it will b easier to keep track of all the communication flying back and forth.

My ss gift was shipped today and tracking info emailed. I kept putting it off because I HATE going to the post office but there was only 1 person in line!!!!

I have an elementary and middle schooler. For elementary we do a bigger gift but because my middle schooler has alot of teachers we do Christmas candy in a cute chinese takeout container and then tuck a $5 gc to like coldstones or starbucks inside. Middle school teachers are often forgot about so they really appreciate our gifts! I do the same for the bus drivers because they are deserving too!

I'm excited because I need that tree. I scoped it out in the store today and it's really nice. Clear and multicolor light option in one! This is one of only 2 stores I have to actually go to on Black Friday!

My kids have 2 stockings, one that hangs on the mantle and a huge one that goes under the tree. The huge stockings are filled with clothes, hats, gloves, socks and underclothes (stuff they need)!! Wrapping all those things use to be a pain and they never got excited when they opened a box filled wtih underwear anyway!! Everyone gets a toothbrush in the small stockings along with their favorite candy and various trinkets. MY STOCKING IS ALWAYS EMPTY EVEN THOUGH I MENTION IT EVERY YEAR.

We are organized. I do use different paper for each person in our family. I distribute the gifts according to the wow factor, always saving the best for last. It does take longer but we all get to see what everyone got and its a lesson in patience for my chidren as we take turns opening gifts.
