  1. I decided to download the app and order on there.....it worked!!!! Then I called and cancelled the first order. Customer service was very quick and very friendly! She said they are definitely having some trouble with the website this morning from desktops/laptops. The apps seem to be working fine.
  2. Good idea....I'm going to call and see if they are able to switch the colors.
  3. Their website is not working correctly on the women's Columbia fleece jackets. I just realized that I bought 2 of the same color....not even colors that I wanted. So now I have two jackets being shipped to me in the Oceanic color. I wanted different ones....it didn't say they were out of stock when I selected them. Ugh. Maybe I can exchange them at the store. However, after BF they will probably be all out for a while.
  4. None of the sets that my girls want seem to be on sale for BF anyways....I bought them last week, Amazon had decent prices.
  5. My daughters want some Lego sets for Christmas. I know that Walmart usually has a good deal on a box of bricks, but they want actual sets. Are there usually good deals on sets? Specifically Ninjago and Lego Disney sets? I think I've seen things like the Lego City sets on sale, but I was wondering about others. I'm tempted to go ahead and buy now but I'm afraid I'll regret it!
  6. I just looked on kohls site and there is no 3ds as listed in the ad. Is that something that will be added when they go live since it's not an item they normally carry?
  7. Do they always have the same items online that are in the flyer? I need 2 of the Nintendo 3DS XL's. is the site usually bogged own and running slowly?
  8. I keep looking on amazons site and cannot find lists of upcoming deals in each category. Am I blind? How are y'all finding these lists?
  9. I just picked up both Skylanders and Infinity for $37 each. At our Walmart they were marked as $75 but scanned as $37. Glad I was already in there tonight! I would have been upset if they were already gone by morning ! However, no one seemed to know....I was the only person looking at video games.
  10. Just scored Disney Infinity and Skylanders for $37 each tonight in Walmart! Now I don't have to go there early tomorrow! They were not marked down on the tag and they were in their normal place. I just decided to scan one and it was $37! Guess they marked down early.
  11. I'm wondering how the crowd will be? Is this something I should get there pretty early for ? I was thinking of arriving about 7 am.
  12. Yes, the flash deal has already passed.....like another poster said, it was about a month ago. I snagged three sets....one for each of my three girls. It was Cecile and Marie Grace only though....plus an extra outfit.
  13. Amazon currently has Disney Infinity for the Wii U for $59.95. That's a decent price but I'm wondering if I will find it cheaper on Black Friday (and actually be able to score it). Skylanders Swap Force seems to be more pricey at $74.96. I'm really hoping to find that cheaper. What do you guys think? Do you think they'll be any cheaper any time soon? Maybe Black Friday? Although, I know these are hot items and the masses will also be hoping to catch them on sale as well. So I'm not sure I'd actually be able to get my hands on one. I was hoping to only have to buy one, but my 9 year old wants Infinity and my 6 year old wants Swap Force. Ugh LOL.
  14. Oh no, definitely not a cart LOL! The crowds can get a little tight and I'm afraid someone would try to squeeze by the cart and tip it over. Either in the sling or in a stroller (when they are getting too heavy for the sling).
  15. I'll be the one that people flame. I take my kids when they are like 3 and under. Last year I was the one waiting in the Barbie line at WalMart at midnight with my 3 week old snug and asleep in my sling. I'm not sure where everyone lives, but I've been Black Friday shopping for about ten years now and have never EVER seen any sort of fight. In fact, last year when I had my newborn with me, I had people (strangers) reaching in and handing me back Barbie dolls. Everyone is nice and chatty, trying to stay awake in the wee hours of the night. I also have an 8 and 5 year old, but I leave them home with their daddy....only because I'm usually shopping for them. Three and under and my babies go with me. I'm very pro attachment parenting. I say do what you think is best for your daughter....you know her.
  16. I had no idea about that search feature! Thanks so much! I'll try that out. And I did check on Amazon. That was my "plan B" LOL. I was hoping someone would have them for $10 or $12 on BF. I think I may go ahead and order them on Amazon after trying the search feature.
  17. Trying to avoid looking through every single ad LOL....does anyone remember off hand if any stores are selling Pillow Pets on Black Friday? I need three of them and I'm hoping to avoid paying full price.
  18. Ugh...wish this would have been available a few weeks ago! I ordered two of the mini AG dolls from the AG website for $22 each, plus shipping. Even if I sent them back, I'd have to pay for shipping.....so it wouldn't be worth it for me to return them and purchase the ones from WalMart. This is a great deal!
  19. Last year I got my 2 kids an iPod Touch each (they were 2 and 5 years old then). It's one of the best gifts we've ever gotten them! I limit their time using them, but I do let them use them in the car, on long trips, and sometimes late at night to settle down. Before giving it to them, I loaded them up with their favorite kids songs, kids games, home videos, their favorite TV shows, a movie or two, family photos from their birthdays and family events, etc. They absolutely love them. For their birthday they got an iTunes gift card and I help them choose downloads to put on there. I also got them a screen protector and nice silicone case for protection and I put those on before I wrapped it. They absolutely LOVE their iPod Touches. They've been dropped, etc, and hold up well! No Leapster or Nintendo DS's for us!
  20. My girls have this one: http://www.walmart.com/Fisher-Price-Power-Wheels-F150/ip/6526966?dest=9999999997&sourceid=37050782600619749012 I do not have a single bad thing to say about it. Lots of leg room. That was important to us. We tried out many Power Wheels before settling on this one....we wanted one that would last our DD's for a while.
  21. I do not like that they are opening at midnight. I don't like the fact that they are dragging black friday into Thanksgiving.
  22. Does anyone know if the Area 51 game for XBox is any good? The guy I'm buying it for loves the Call of Duty games, as well as Halo. Just wondering if this is along those lines?
  23. Pretty much any traditional toy that you can find at Target, WalMart, Toys R Us, etc. I am in the process of doing a thorough cleaning of my kids playroom. Everything that they do not use seems to be things that move/talk/make noise/electronic/etc. Most of that stuff is all going to the garage sale I'm having soon. I'm buying more "non-traditional" toys this year, with the exception of a few of the new Fisher Price Animalville sets since my 2 year old loves Little People. I plan on getting a domino race set, some Keva planks, lots of crafts for my creative 5 year old....stuff like that. Now to just steer the grandparents away from those toys that end up in the "garage sale" box a few months down the road.
  24. We tried out the VTech, took it back and got the Leapster instead. Way better.
