Ravenseye Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Nice! If you're in the syracuse/central new york area, one or two of our local radio stations get the tunes going 24/7 in and around the first week of October. -Mike 1
Pepper_Mint_Tea Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Excellent, I really enjoy Christmas tunes It makes the holiday more joyful !!
nicole20 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 We had some cooler fall weather this morning and listened to Christmas music on Pandora on my way into work It always put me in a super good mood 2
magickallight Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 (edited) Christmas music and Christmas movies are something that can cheer me up year round... my mom said when I was little I used to drive the neighbors crazy playing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer all year long on my record player and singing at the top of my lungs. Kanyon71 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Usually as soon as the Christmas stations hit Sat radio my wife has them tuned in
stacyk9 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I was listening to Christmas music just last week. I can't wait!! 1
Bopeep Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I've been transitioning all of my music from iTunes to Amazon, so I've done some cleaning and rebuilding. My Christmas music playlist was the first one I completed and I've been listening to it a lot . 1
freesia39 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Trying to find a decent Christmas station on iTunes radio. One hasn't popped up yet. 1
HansieDZ Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) I have been listening to my Christmas playlists on youtube since the weather has turned cooler...Something about the seasonable temps that makes you believe that YEP! Winter is on its way and that meansCHRISTMAS!!!!I have always been the sort of person who doesn't believe that Christmas isn't a season so much as a way of looking at life and the reasons we are here on this earth. Gonna try to live that happy feeling every day: It really is The Most Wonderful of Time of the Year! Edited September 19, 2014 by HansieDZ 3

Ravenseye Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Last year they called 'em Holly FM.Here's a link to a local radio blog that talked about it last year.http://www.cnyradio.com/2013/10/05/syracuse-stations-flip-to-holly-fm-with-247-christmas/ -Mike
jewleyp Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Just discovered that I Heart Radio has 365 Christmas! Yeah! 2
TTFN10000 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I like to start listening to Christmas music as of thanksgiving the true spirit lol and driving to the stores on Black Friday.
HansieDZ Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Just discovered that I Heart Radio has 365 Christmas! Yeah! Thanks for this!I signed up and am listening to it right now
kimpooh19 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 I usually have a very strict No Christmas music before Thanksgiving rule...but I totally blew that away today when Pentatonix released their new Christmas album. If you haven't heard of them before, you very much need to go listen to the song previews on Itunes or Amazon. They are an amazing acapella group. http://www.amazon.com/Thats-Christmas-To-Me-Pentatonix/dp/B00NEJ7MMI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413928329&sr=8-1&keywords=that%27s+christmas+to+me 1
rockpzazz Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I'm still old fashioned and buy CD's (I don't have a mp3 player or iPod) but don't buy as many anymore. Any suggestions on new albums coming out this year. I haven't been too fond of the last few years of releases. I almost gave up music because of the Cee-Lo Green Christmas album a couple years ago.
Suzy Crampton Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Anyone know when Sirius XM changes over to their Christmas stations? Tried to find it on their website but they didn't have anything on there. TIA
AndreaInNC Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I wish the local radio stations would play Christmas music throughout the Christmas season and not stop on 12/25. The 12 days of Christmas doesn't start until December 25th!
Kanyon71 Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I can't find when SiriusXM will start but i did find out that Channel 781 Holly is now year round. Didn't know this.

misstaken Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Does anyone else love early jazz as much as I do? I tend to gravitate towards Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong strongly throughout the year, but especially during the holidays. The music is such a stress reliever for me. I'd love to find a music station that played this type of holiday music specifically. Does such a thing exist?
Kanyon71 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Kanyon71 I received an email the other day from them. Music starts on November 12Thank you for the update.
