Brad Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Almost halfway there. Where did the last 6 months go? Guess I better start preparing, haha 1
Kanyon71 Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 We are all going to blink and it will be here. Funny thing is someone brought it up yesterday. My wife and I are re-locating to MI in August and yesterday my MIL said so what are we going to do for Black Friday. We said come to MI and we will go lol.
midnight555 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Omg I'm so excited I've already started saving my money I got my chairs ready know what movies I want to buy on Black Friday I'm so ready and pumped #blackfriday2014 1
tinkrbel Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I was thinking about BF the other day when my crazy aunt mentioned not caring if her tv cost 600+ so long as it was "good". She does NOT have a bluray player or cable and her current tv is from the 80's, she's getting a 32-39 inch for under $200. It'd just be nice to get it for under $100 if her current one holds out until BF.
tyreejames Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Man Black Friday is late again this year. That sucks... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Ravenseye Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Just think, Hobby Lobby has started to display both Halloween, and Christmas stuff this week. It's starting to get on the minds of the stores out there! Or at least one crazy store! 1
Kanyon71 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I avoid Hobby Lobby. They tricked me with their name. My wife asked me one day if I wanted to go to Hobby Lobby. I was like R/C Cars, Planes, Trains and so on HECK YA I'M ALL IN. We get there and I'm like what the heck is this, it's Michaels with a different name. Now don't get me wrong stores like this are just fine but don't get my hopes all up and then shoot me down. Now I don't go there with her unless she is reminded that it's not a hobby store in MY eyes. 1
Ravenseye Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 *smiles* I happen to work in the exact kind of hobby shop you wished hobby lobby was! and, we are starting to plot out what we want to do this christmas... I love it!
berry1014 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Tucking away even more money this wekend for Christmas shopping. Kids are getting older so their gifts are getting more expensive. 1
Bopeep Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I bought a couple Christmas gifts last week, and it REALLY put me in the mood for Black Friday. Funny, you would think it would have put me in the mood for Christmas. Hmmmmm.
Kanyon71 Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 *smiles* I happen to work in the exact kind of hobby shop you wished hobby lobby was! and, we are starting to plot out what we want to do this christmas... I love it!I tell you I was majorly bummed. I was like now we need to find a REAL hobby shop so I can bask in all of it's glory lol. We were out of town at this time so looking for one proved fruitless.I bought a couple Christmas gifts last week, and it REALLY put me in the mood for Black Friday. Funny, you would think it would have put me in the mood for Christmas. Hmmmmm. We have normally already started but this year we are moving long distance at the end of July and we don't want extras to pack so we haven't bought anything yet. Hope to get started once we get into the new house.
2chia Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Oh.. How the time fly by... so glad Black Friday is almost here. I just hope Amazon don't ruin by being " negotiating " with more publish house or movie company or other field of business.
pogiporkchop Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I suppose I better start tucking money away too and preparing my lists too! 1
Kanyon71 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Looks like it's going to be a new TV year this year. We are moving out of state at the end of this month and I'm not taking my plasma with us. SO we will be getting a new TV on BF. I'm hoping for some killer deals on 70"+
midnight555 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Yeah I'm looking forward to get a new tv this year as well I hope they have 70'inch on sale as well

Bopeep Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Record low temps for July in Oklahoma this week means it feels like fall, which means it feels like Black Friday should be right around the corner and ads should be coming out! 2
Jen08 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I already have saved up quite a bit and have tucked some stocking stuffers away. Im already getting excited!!
Kanyon71 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Will be fun trying to figure out where to shop this year. Not to mention freezing our butts off. Moving back to MI, I've been in FL 16 years now so a lot of the places I used to shop there are no longer around lol.
Brad Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 We're two-thirds of the way there. Getting close now... 3
