pogiporkchop Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I waited a bit longer than usual to start this but someone's brilliant contest idea reminded me that I hadn't done it yet. Anyone who's been on here for a spell will know my DD has had a lot of odd requests - besides the mandatory jar of pickles. This year's request is no different: she wants a toilet brush and cleaner for starters. Anyone receive any odd requests yet?
floridasun5 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Toilet brush and cleaner!?!?! Is she volunteering to do the housework now? No weird requests here. Mine is grown at 20 years old and I have a hard enough time even getting her to give me a list, much less anything strange.
faceofboe Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I'd be more than happy to let my daughter have a toilet brush for Christmas...as long as she was willing to use it for helping me clean. Not too odd but my 6 year old DD, for the 2nd year in a row, has asked for a tarantula. Still not going to happen.
pogiporkchop Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 I'm lucky, DD begs me to be able to clean the toilet Both she and DS have been fighting over the vacuum since they were little. I just might get her one too...
Elmck Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I'm lucky, DD begs me to be able to clean the toilet Both she and DS have been fighting over the vacuum since they were little. I just might get her one too...I got DD a vacuum on year for Christmas (just a small stick vac) She is still using it. It is perfect for her to use when she cleans her room!!
bluebear Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 My niece gave me her list today.A particular Pegasus from BAMBacon SoapPickle Lip BalmThen I told her about your daughter requesting pickles. Then...Oooh!!! Me too, I want pickles! And a coconut. 2
misstaken Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Thank you for bringing this thread back! I always love to see the funny requests. It makes my day! 2
pogiporkchop Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 I was going to do it a few weeks ago and thought it was a bit early. DD always has some very interesting requests and I'm sure she will be coming up with a list soon. Oh, she did say she wanted her own toilet paper... and of course it has to be panda ever since we went to Big Lots and she found the Panda brand. Panda everything is still on her list.
hillbillyswife Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 My daughter is going to be a teacher so she asked for stuff for her classroom Great I can do thatthen she said she wanted food???hmmm ok lol
fingerlakesmom Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Last year my 15 year old wanted a pregnancy test for HIS stocking.... he wanted to pee on it and see if it really said false 3

fingerlakesmom Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 One year my BIL asked for TP every year he asks for the tooth flossers the hand ones u use once As for DS pregnancy test he hasn't used it yet he informed he he wasn't worried he was pregnant yet I'm thinking one of these days I am gonna ask to borrow it juts to shock him 2
misstaken Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 So, not really odd but my ds12 told me after school that instead of presents, he would just like us to give him money this year. $600, to be exact. I told him that I would discuss that with his father. He pretty much knows what that means. 1
pogiporkchop Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 You could give him $600... and then say he didn't specify what kind of money. But that would be really mean... if you fill a stocking with a bunch of play money mix a bit of the real stuff in there.(Hey, that's a great idea for my own kids! Why didn't I think of it sooner?) 3

bluebear Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Thanks for the website! Funny thing with my niece and bacon stuff (she already has socks), is that they are vegetarians! So I have to be careful with food stuffs. She'd eat it though!
lucyismycat Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Well, my 3 year old son told me tonight that he would like for Santa to bring him some sporks. Apparently he likes them because "they have that pointy thing on the end". So I guess I'll be getting some sporks to go in his stocking. I can only hope he doesn't end up stabbing his brother with them. lol 5
Kandy Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Love this thread every year. DD 20 wants anything with Panadas on it and Nightmare before christmas. Then yesterday to her Amazon wish list when a Magna (sp) 5 computer program with a drawing tablet that I almost brought the day before from amazon on sale for like $20 and yesterday it was $70 so I want blah on me for being unsure if she would like it. DS18 wants a soda stream... so not much really odd here..YET
chrisjuvers Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 DS7 last year asked the Santa in the mall for bigger "MAN PARTS" !! and he used the correct words. Apparently his smart as* daddy told him that could not join the men's family poker/card game until he had a bigger---------. . Imagine the embarrassment! I was made at DH for a week for that one. 3

chrisjuvers Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 What was Santa's answer ?He looked at me and laughed for a long time. Then Santa said, "I'll see what I can do"
pogiporkchop Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 That is so funny!.... but yes, I know I'd feel the same way if that was my child.

beccas302 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 DS16 wants a pair of $100 combat boots. He insists that's ALL he wants... I found a pair for $45, so he'll be getting them. Maybe I'll hide the rest of his presents on OUR side of the tree so that's all that is under there
HansieDZ Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 DD9 added wigs and wig heads to her list.I have no clue why.
bluebear Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 DS17 requested an ugly Christmas sweater. He'll wear it too... 1
2chia Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 DS17 requested an ugly Christmas sweater. He'll wear it too...LOL. That is funny. I wonder what made him ask for that.
bluebear Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 LOL. That is funny. I wonder what made him ask for that.I pulled out the Christmas shirts I got last year, and I had got his brother an ugly sweater looking t-shirt. He first said he would wear that, then said he wanted an actual sweater. He doesn't wear sweaters. And he wears uniforms to school, so that was an odd request. But he will still wear it out places.
