hope1976 Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 That is very awesome, but I know for sure we'd have problems with some of our neighbors if we did that LOL
tootsieroll23 Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 WOW look at this light display. All I can say is that took a lot of doing. Video may take awhile to load. http://homepage.usask.ca/%7Eamn076/lights.wmv

amandasdennis Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 We have a neighbor that puts up lights almost as bad as this...and he was out on Friday buying more because last year someone stole part of them...call it a public service!
treasure60 Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Your right,,,these people have to much time on their hands. I am just glad my neighbors are boring! lol

JazzMama Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I agree - but I really liked it; couldn't believe how long it was though.
jedialpha Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 i guess we know where KITT from knight rider is....
ReillyCheyenne Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I wouldn't want to see their power bill at the end of december. It would be scary.
stacimarie Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 i bet the neighbors are ecstatic!! hahahehe ** ^ \_/
best4less Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Wow, that's wild!!! I have to show my DH that, he'd get a kick out of it. Hmmm, on the second though, maybe I SHOULDN'T show him....don't want to give him ANY ideas! lol

peachysquirt21 Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I am curious how long it took to get it like that. I will say it is clever. LOL
tootsieroll23 Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I don't know how it is done, someone here might. I just can't believe that person could get the lights to coordinate with the music so perfectly. :) Wonder how long it really did take for this person to put up this display.
labgeek Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I can't get to the site (wmv's are blocked here)... but have any of you checked out http://www.animatedlighting.com/showcase/customershows.asp Animated lighting makes products to control lights - including sync'ing to music. Sounds like the link may use a similar product if not one from them.

mghtymth27 Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I'm lucky if I get my lights up, and they are all straight!!!!
labgeek Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Down the street from me is a house that has a boatload of lights. They bought the lot next door just to put lights up! And no, I'm not joking! They don't have any of the animated lights like these. But plenty of inflatables, and moving displays. They even have a TV projector set up in the middle of the yard. I'll try to remember to take the camera along when walking the dogs.
Chachi Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 It's stop motion video. Towards the end you can see the blades of grass on the bottem "wiggle". And the music sounds pretty clear to have come from the house. If it were real the street would be covered with people having seizures. But a very good job of putting it together, quite entertaining.
Kandy Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 If it was real.. I would be happy to see it , but not live next too it.
pnlcooper Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 The an who did this has another light show on his house to, theis house is legend, as seen in link listed, there is also link to alternate light show he has done.http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/xmaslights.asp
