Help me, I am confused !!!!!!!!!!

I favor the Fuji E510 over the Canon A520, 5MP rather than 4MP on the Canon. 4X optical zoom rather than 3.2X, and in addition, dpreview.com says the Fuji is one camera that they recommend using the digital zoom as well. Any digital zoom I have seen is useless due to the high level of noise added to the image. The Fuji E510 also has a 2" LCD viewfinder rather than 1.8" on the Canon A520. Stevesdigicam.com seemed to like the Fuji pretty well.

$168 at Target on BF. :)

I have the Kodak EasyShare CX6230. Okay if you aren't using it for much. Battery doesn't last long enough. Wouldn't recommend if you are using it for more than 4x6 pics. Next one I buy probably won't be a Kodak. Funny, since isn't that suppose to be like one of the Big Three in cameras?

I am trying to decide on a digital camera. My budget is around 200 dollars. I am leaning towards walmart - Kodak z760 for 199. I am not interested in HP/Samsung/Fuji. Any thoughts and suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks

I have had, a Canon, Nikon and a Kodak, I would stay away from the Kodak. Canon seems to have the best reputation for cameras in that price range.

I have an olympus that I love. MIL got it for dh and I last Xmas.

My parents have sony digital cameras. Have used them for years, a number of different models, but real workhorses.

I have NEVER know anyone who took photos more than 1 or 2 times a year who was happy with a kodak for long. They don't seem to hold up. This was also a problem way back when I was using film, also. At least 8 of my friends/relatives have had Kodak digital cameras that were hard to use and didn't last, some not even through ONE occasion.

Hope this helps and you are happy with whatever you get!

Susie
