carla0922 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 We Have colored on our tree and White out side. I think this years I'm going to do white on the tree also.
JanaBanana Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 We usually do all white on the tree, but this year I have White and Red ones :) Its pretty! OUtside is all white:g_thumble
Jean Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I have one tree with white and 6 with colored... ( I like colored lights)
peachysquirt21 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Gotta be colored. However one year I had pearl white lights on the tree with silver garland & bows. Was really pretty.
JazzMama Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 White on inside tree, Fuchsia on daughter's tree, and red/white alternating on outside of home
fairydustcrissy Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 colored, but only 1 color. been purple for last few years.
Booterbunz Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 My tree has white and blue lights with blue and silver balls and silver tinsel. I think it's so pretty that way! :)
Gporter34 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I use all white lights on my trees and I use white and colored lights outside.
kmbrly Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I have to have multi colors!! My sister insists on all white. Everytime I mention multicolored lights to her, she starts in making the circus theme music sounds. LOL
erh12275 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 How does both hit ya...lol? We have colored strands throughout and then we take a big strand of white musical ones through the whole tree.
sunprincess831 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 When I was younger I love the colored lights now i like the white lights...really depends on if you have a theme going though, if not colored all the way!
pinkroses4mommy Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Hubby likes white, kids like colored. So. . . . . . we have colored! (Hubby is a bah humbug anyway, so I may as well let the kids enjoy them!!)
Rob9874 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Only colored. Christmas is meant to be colorful. White is more elegant, and I would expect Martha Stewart's tree to have white lights, but it doesn't say "Christmas" to me.
SuperMommy Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 White on the outside of the house and colored on the tree!! As long as there are small children in our house we will have colored lights on the tree. After children are gone and it's just me and hubby we will have white, but not until then.
drmy91 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 We use white lights.... I do silver and blue so that matches pretty well.
Kygal2003 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 We do the white lights on the tree and multi and white outside!
copados1993 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 We do white lights inside and out. We use to do multi lights when I was growing up.
turtle_elf Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 White Outside, Colored on the Tree inside, White in the window candelabra's. Although in the past if we had a spruce tree in the yard, we would have colored lights on it. Everything else out there had white.
peachysquirt21 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Only colored. Christmas is meant to be colorful. White is more elegant, and I would expect Martha Stewart's tree to have white lights, but it doesn't say "Christmas" to me.I agree, I gotta have Christmas be colorful. White lights just look so bland to me. I only used them once & wont again.
alimfp Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 White lights make me think of snow, so I like them on houses but not necessarily on trees. I'm not sure what we'll put on our house this year? In the past few years, we did white lights and colored on the tree. :)
