elena_398 Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 I bought my daughter one too! Congrats on getting them. Wouldn't your Walmart price match?
best4less Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Glad you got them :) I just seen in the Walgreen's paper that they are going to have them on sale this week for $9.99 as well!

SuperMommy Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Good job!! I had a doodle bear once!! Those were the good old days!!
Tracy72 Posted November 6, 2005 Author Posted November 6, 2005 I want to try...but I am afraid that I will make a fool out of myself doing it...lol... what do yousay to the cashier or do you have togo to the service desk to do this?
Guest all2tired Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Congrats on getting them and yes you should always try to price match. Stores want your buisness and they know they paid less for the product so they can give it to you for what other stores are offering. Just make sure you bring the printed ad from that store. Most if not all do not price match on % off or BOGO
elena_398 Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 I price matched tonight at Walmart. just bring in the ad and tell them BEFORE they ring it up. They adjust then. Its easy and it saves you from running to different stores
Guest all2tired Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Also remember it HAS to be the exact item. Same brand, style etc
Tracy72 Posted November 6, 2005 Author Posted November 6, 2005 ok....I will have to try this ...whem my hubby is not with me thinking that I am crazy...lol
fingerlakesmom Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Oh eys price matching is easy I always lay the flyer on tp of the item when I set it doen at the registar Wonderful on getting teh 2 bears
shanni Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 And Walmart will not match a % off ad, just so you know.
dorkydiva Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 I think it also depends on where you live if they price match or not. I'm not near a Target so our Wal-Mart won't price match since they know they are really not a competitor.
Spotted1 Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 I think it also depends on where you live if they price match or not. I'm not near a Target so our Wal-Mart won't price match since they know they are really not a competitor.Good point! We can't take a Target ad into Walmart here because the nearest Target is in West Virginia. Walmart will say they're not a competitor. But I can take a KMart or Food City ad in and they will price match it.since they're right next door.
erh12275 Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Wish I could have gotten them. Hubby's cousin went out of town but I couldn't get a hold of her in time to get her to get them. Maybe they will be on sale somewhere else.
shopping mom Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I want to try...but I am afraid that I will make a fool out of myself doing it...lol...what do yousay to the cashier or do you have togo to the service desk to do this?Just take your ads with you. I think I have Wal-mart memorized so I usually know if they carry an item but I still go early and try to find as much of my list as I can. Our Wal-mart won't do BOGO or % offs but if the store list the price they will match it. Last year the cashier did not want to let me have the Deluxe monopoly (KB or TRU had it listed for 9.99) But she called her supervisor and I got it. The only catch is the sale has to be on. If the sale doesn't start till 7 and you are leaving Wal-mart before then they will not honor the ad. Hope you save lots of time and money!!
