We had one of these when I was a kid & loved it! I wish my kids were smaller so I could get one for them.

I will occasionally get one that is good even if you don't use a JCP card (I don't have a JCP card). I believe the last time I got one was in July.

When this post first came up, I checked on the handheld games and they were not available for pickup at my store. Today I decided to check the other items, and I was able to order the nightlights and book lights. This is a great bargain!

DH really likes Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday. It's around $20.

Mine still believe--they are 7 & 5. I dread the day they ask, because I won't be able to lie to them.

When DD was in Kindergarten, I got her teacher a stocking and stuffed it with bags of microwave popcorn and a gc to Blockbuster. We've since moved to a very rural area, and there aren't many shopping choices for a gc. Last year, her teacher asked the parents to go in together to buy some nice (expensive) puzzles for the classroom. This year, DS has started Kindergarten, so I will have two teachers to buy for.

We have to travel, so I don't do the cooking. One year, though, I did host for the in-laws (7 people total). Luckily, it was the day after T-giving and we spent T-giving day at my parents' house. I didn't realize that it took a long time for the turkey to thaw, and mine was still in the freezer, so my mother gave me all the leftover turkey to take home for my dinner!

I've never really added it up, but I'd say $100 per child.

That's a good idea, although my kids would probably write everything down! They've already started with "I want that!" for every commercial they see.

I can't really think of anything. The only thing I'm really wanting for Christmas is a Cricut Personal Cutting System, and that's around $300!

I keep things in the basement or in the guest bedroom.

For my son, we have a karate kit and a remote control car. For my daughter we have a Disney Princess Monopoly game. Today I bought one of my nephews two outfits that were on sale at JCPenney.

I tacked up a red satin ribbon around the door frame from the kitchen to the family room. I got mini clothespins and clipped the cards to the ribbon. It's already full, and I have about 10-15 more cards to hang, so I will probably do the same thing on the door frame going from the kitchen to the foyer.

In the basement. My kids don't go down there.

My sister said she would get ds one a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, she is one who waits until the last minute to do her Christmas shopping so now she can't find one anywhere.

I emailed WM customer service and told them that I would be willing to wait as long as it takes. I received an email this am stating that they have noted that in their system. I hope I can get it!

I never get the codes, either, and I've been buying and selling for 6 years.

I just moved in the area about 6 months ago, and it's the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. It's a 40 minute drive to WM so I'm not sure who my "local" station would be! (Most of our news comes out of West Virginia) I guess I could try contacting them, though.

It was a BF deal. I guess I should have read the fine print. If I had known that could happen, I would have just waited and gone early BF morning. Bummer!

I don't think it's a matter of things taking that amount of time to come back. I think it's a genius marketing ploy because the toymakers know that the kids that had/wanted them when they were popular before have kids now and will buy them for their kids because of the memories.

I ordered one of the Emerson dual screen dvd players online the night before BF. I just received an email from WM stating that there is a problem with the fulfillment and if they are not able to ship it within 10 days my order will be canceled! Could they actually do this? It seems like if they say something is available on their website they should fill the order no matter what. I'm sure it's not like they can't get more. Sorry about the rant, but I had one of the Durabrands on layaway and canceled it after I was able to get this one online. What a hassle!

I got the Emerson dual screen dvd player from WM online on Thursday night. On Friday, went to TRU and got 2/$25 plug-plays, Leapfrog Learning Table, and Batman drumset. At Target got Shark Tale dvd and all 3 Lord of the Rings dvds. At EBGames my husband did the buy 2 used XBox games get one free.

Yes if it is something that doesn't fit, is a double, just don't want, etc. My grandmother gave ds a couple of XBox games one time. He is 4, and they were rated T for Teen so I took them back.
