susiejwp Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 ...absolutely, I had HOME ALONE on the other day while I was cleaning...didn't get a whole lot done other than laughing hysterically at the show....don't mind me the cleaning fumes get to me sometimes!
berry1014 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 YUP ..... my daughters favorite movies are Santa Claus 2 and Frosty. How an I say no when a 4 years old asks to watch Frosty so nicely. Besides I am a Christmas nut so I can watch them any time of the year.
mangreg99 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 We watched Christmas with the Kranks last night and it is so funny. I went out and bought it after I rented it. My kids watch xmas movies all year long especially my 5 yr old. He loves all movies though. Dee:holiday10
Jenniferharrison82 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I have been very tempted, thought I was alone ...
Gemini Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Let's see: Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) Garfield Christmas (1987) Claymation Christmas (1987) Christmas Carol (1999) I think those are the only ones I'm going to plan on watching this year. If something else airs on TV during December, I might watch it as well. Nitpicking the OP: why write X-Mas? I've never heard anyone say Christ-Mas before? (How would you say that anyway? Christ "moss"? Christ "mass"?) I think the correct way to write it would be Christmas or (for those who like Greek) Xmas. I guess I just sometimes think about how a post would sound if read aloud.
threelittlecupcakes Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 We watched Christmas with the Kranks for 2nd time this weekend. First was in the theater. The kids have already had Elf on, this weekend we will probably dig out some more.
countryshopper Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Watched Christmas with the Kranks on Thanksgiving Day after dinner. Have watched 2 or 3 on tv over the weekend. Must watch sometime in the next month include: White Christmas, Home Alone 1 and 2, Christmas Vacation, Grinch, Miracle on 34th Street, Elf, Annabelle's Wish and a few more that I can't seem to remember at the moment. Plus all the ones on TV that look good. I don't know how I get anything else done, there's just too many that I like.
2apples Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Of Course. I could watch Christmas Movies all day.
scrappynik Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 We watch Christmas movies all year long....my favorite being Christmas Vacation...the kids love Elf and Home Alone.

My son & I have been making a Christmas video Library - (the kid watches Christmas movies ALL year long!) - I started watching them right before Thanksgiving... I Love them!
Kygal2003 Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 We watched Christmas With The Kranks the other night. The kids also have Santa Claus and Home Alone...I'm sure they'll be watching those soon.
babycleat Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 It's refreshing to see that my family is not the only family who watches CHRISTMAS VACATION as their first movie of the season. Our generation has changed a great deal from our parents when more traditional fare was appropriate. We start w/ Christmas vacation and watch everything else after that. Usually it's on Thanksgiving evening or when we begin decorating. All of us can quote the entire movie and we find ourselves bringing up lines somehow in conversation throughout the year! Happy movie watching to you all!! :elmo:
daworths8 Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Just letting everyone know who loves the classics, Rudolph, Frosty etc. I saw at Walmart yesterday a boxed set of them all, I believe it was $25. Im gonna go get one as soon as I can. Im sure other stores should have them too.
Guest all2tired Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Watched "It's a wonderful life", "Miracle on 34th street" (original) and Elf. Seems Elf is a really good sleeping pill for me. Put it on and I'm out cold in a matter of minutes
Gemini Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Tomorrow night is Rudolph! Love watching that every yearhttp://www.cbs.com/specials/rudolph/ I think the commercial said something about it being shown in high definition. I don't have a HDTV, but I wonder how good it will look.
