  1. Mine is New Year's Eve. It sucked growing up. Never got a party on my birthday as all the adults had to go to New Year's Eve parties. Most years I had to wait until Jan 1st to celebrate, with all the hungover relatives. One year we were running a little late (my dad worked on a farm and had to milk) and we got to my grandparents for my party and everyone had already left. They had even ate my cake without me, they all had their parties to go to. Talk about an awful birthday. Now it's pretty cool, but back then it was the pits. Happy Birthday to everyone. :xlbirthda
  2. Watched Christmas with the Kranks on Thanksgiving Day after dinner. Have watched 2 or 3 on tv over the weekend. Must watch sometime in the next month include: White Christmas, Home Alone 1 and 2, Christmas Vacation, Grinch, Miracle on 34th Street, Elf, Annabelle's Wish and a few more that I can't seem to remember at the moment. Plus all the ones on TV that look good. I don't know how I get anything else done, there's just too many that I like.
  3. Christmas Eve - my mom's family (aunts, uncles, cousins)(around 40 people) all come to our house and we have munchies and desserts. Christmas Day - my parents,my 2 brothers, my sister-in-law, niece and nephews( if they not at their mom's), my dad's brother and his wife and my cousin's two sons come for dinner. We have the same as Thanksgiving. Turkey and all the trimmings. This year has been really ruff as my Grandfather (my mom's dad) pasted away in July and my cousin (we were very close)was killed in a car accident in March. This first holiday season without them is already depressing, but we'll make it thru as we all know that's what they would want us to do.
  4. The ad I received yesterday in the mail has different (higher) prices then the Walmart website is showing for my area (central NY).
