angel_parker1999
For the tree we either to the fade effect or steady on, depends on the mood. For the lights outside I like steady but hubby does those and chooses flashing (drives me crazy because he has some many sets outside and they all flash at different times). Spooot
I have both on my tree...the tree is pre-lit and then I add some big steady burbing lights for affect.
TBA
we like the flashing lights better too. The last 2 years we've had a fiber optic tree. they are cute!
susiejwp
....my choice is non-flashing but hubby likes flashing....we used to have them flash but I changed all the lights last Christmas and now they are non-flashing....he hasn't mentioned it and I won't either
krissy72
I like multi colored flashing. My DH also hates the flash. Nobody cares. Mine are always flashing anyway.
wf2afcop
I think non-flashing is my choice.
debd
Non flashing.....I like the look of the tree with all the lights just on...not going haywire! We did a flashing tree one year, It gave me headaches! LOL:gd_stars: Same here I get a headache from the flashing in my last house I had to keep the blinds closed all winter when the neighbor had his lights flashing
sunprincess831
My lights don't flash, but when I was younger flashing lights were the best!

outnumbered
Nonflashing for the tree, but I just love the outdoor lights that blink or look like they're moving in a line.
mrsbmb
both.. i use multicolor lights and i add a couple sets of motion lights but i have them twinkling very slow. but there is always lights lit because of the non flashy ones. kathy
chimeralife
We generally use white non-flashing, then multi-color flashing. That way there is always something on and it is soooo pretty because there is no such thing as too many lights on a tree.
ajburlingame
I like flashing, my husband HATES flashing. He won this one.
gisellerol
FLASHING ITS FOR THE KIDS AND THEY LOVE IT
hope1976
For some reason I can't stand the flashing lights inside....outside, however, I think it's very cool! Another compromise is to put a tree inside and out and then you both get your way if one wants flashing and the other doesn't LOL I get a headache with the flashing though
queenofshopping
we always have a real tree & my dad thinks it would be a fire hazard to have lights on it (he thinks everything is a fire hazard) so we've never had em

Jennifer0530
DH and I both love to have the lights flashing, however we got a new tree this year (pre-lit with fiber optics) and the lights don't flash but the fiber optics make up for it. scrappynik
I have soooo many strands of lights on my tree....a couple of them have a control box and you can have the lights do different things. I liked that most were solid and a few blinkie however!!! my crazy kitty goes bonkers when the lights flash so I had to switch them all to solid non-blinking! lol
