The little gifts in the stockings I do. The kids get so excited unwrapping the little things. My daughter's wrapped items will be the jewelry set I bought her and perfume. The rest like little toys/candy won't be though. I try to put in 2 or 3 little wrapped gifts

My daughter's are not wrapped. However, my husband and I have a tradition that a few most-wanted items are placed in each other's stocking sometime before Christmas (it's always a race to see whose is filled first).

Because I didn't think the obvious, one year I looked inside and accidentally saw my big surprise. After this, we have both wrapped what goes inside the stockings.

For the grandkids I do because they always have to look inside, but the older kids I do not. I figure if they aren't able to stay out of the stocking by the ages of 16, 18, 18 and 29, then so be it.

I will wrap most of it, including gift cards, lip stick/chap stick. bubbles, ear rings, rings etc. just dont wrap the candy or stuff like that.

There are some items that I wrap, but there are books etc I just stick in the stocking. I always put the wrapped gifts on the top so I will know if the stocking has been messed with.

yes, unless it's candy. My kids LOVE to unwrap stuff, plus it gives me somethingto do with inevitable leftover pieces of paper that are never big enough to wrap anything sizeable!

Some of it. Probably not if it's a difficult to wrap item or if it's edible... But, these are things for my DH or the cats. We don't have kids. :holiday09

not for dd but yes for dh

we don't usually do much for each other (we usually just pool of $ and go buy something after Christmas for the house)...We do exchange stockings and I like to wrap his things so he feels like he has something to unwrap

No, we don't wrap the ones in the stocking. We wrap the majority of what goes under or around the tree. With the exception of a few to look cute, like a stuffed animal or doll on top of each child's pile!
