happysunshine28 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 When do you start wrapping, I am thinking of starting tonight since my kids are gone. Is it to early?
snakeswiff Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I have already started!!!! I say go for it!
Momto32003 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I was going to start this weekend but figured since I went shopping so early, I had better wait. I kept all the reciepts and if I see it at a lower price, I will just price match it.
laffnatu Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I've bought all my gifts for work and wrapped them the same day. I did have to make a list of what was what and what went to who..lol.
starshine Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I am already done! I will just have to wrap my BF haul.
best4less Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 If I had some tape (only seem to have wrapping paper), I'd be wrapping right now! lol
beccas302 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 If I had some tape (only seem to have wrapping paper), I'd be wrapping right now! lolLOL same here! I went down into my basement today to sort stuff out and start wrapping my son's presents and realized I had NO tape! About 25 rolls of paper, but zero on the sticky stuff!
best4less Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 LOL same here! I went down into my basement today to sort stuff out and start wrapping my son's presents and realized I had NO tape! About 25 rolls of paper, but zero on the sticky stuff! LOL that is the way it is here too! More wrapping paper and gift tags then I will ever have use for but....not a single roll of tape!
rkcjwares Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I started about three weeks ago. I try to take a little time every weekend if I've picked soemthing up. I pick stuff up all year so I wrap then figure out who I still have to buy for! )
saraczek Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I start at about 10pm on Dec. 23rd, staying up all might of course. I hate wrapping presents. Maybe if I started earlier like as I bought them it would be more enjoyable.:)
libbym26 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I usually start wrapping when we put up the tree...the next weekend after thanksgiving.
ebony0421 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I don't start wrapping until the tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving.
aolson Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 This weekend... As soon as I get some tape. I found plenty of wrapping paper at Dollar Tree, including Scooby Doo, so I have lots of wrapping paper, just no tape! Andrea
happysunshine28 Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 I checked and NO TAPE, its going around. Darn. I do have package tape, lol. Wouldn't that be pretty.
outnumbered Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 LOL, evidently not soon enough this year... But normally as soon as I buy presents I wrap them. I'll write on the wrapping paper what is inside, so I know...and then cover that up with the "to" tag or the bow.
mjmcca Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I should start now the kids are sleeping and hubby went out to drive a cab.
oldandintheway Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I don't start wrapping gifts until I put up the Christmas tree. I normally put up the tree on Thanksgiving, but I think I'm going to try to put it up a couple of days early this year.
wf2afcop Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I started a few days ago, usually do a few here and there, I am not really a big fan of wrapping so this way it is not a huge task. My family is coming for Thanksgiving so I have to have everything sorted and wrapped so they can take their gifts home with them and I don't have to ship at least those. We are putting up our tree *before* they arrive, too early for me, weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving. But, DH wants it up the weekend after Turkey day and they will all still be here, so we must keep a schedule. LOL!!! =)
StephanieD Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I don't start wrapping until after Thanksgiving. That's the only time I'm really in the mood to start wrapping.
momofangel Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I have already started. I will put my tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving and I want to be able to put the gifts around the tree as soon as it is decorated.
robinson68 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I try to wrap as I buy. Seems a little easier for me
erh12275 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I plan on doing it as time allows this year. That probably means at 2 in the morning on Christmas...lol.
casbug10 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I always wait until christmas eve........I know I need to do it earlier but I keep putting it off until the last min. Then I'm up all night wrapping. Gotta love it.
vonnyb Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I usually start wrapping after Thanksgiving. May start early this year.
beccas302 Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Muhaha! Went to the store today and bought one roll of tape (I just know this won't be enough!). Figured once I'm done with the roll of tape, I'm done wrapping for the day, or weekend as the case will most likely be
Guest all2tired Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 About 2 weeks before Christmas. I used to do it earlier but after my hot water heater broke and I had to rewrap everything, I started waiting as long as possible.
