siczlo Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 What do u all think of the amp? My son wants one for his guitar? Also, do u think the heater would heat a 2 car garage?
siczlo Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 The Maxfields Chocolates for $1.95 are great! I buy like 20 boxes every year for Teacher assistants, busdrivers, mailman, etc. Oh, and a few for myself! They are good! Really good!
joyouskay Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 There are quite a few good deals in this ad- glad it opens at 6. I can hit Walmart, Kohls and Target first!
Brad Posted November 14, 2010 Author Posted November 14, 2010 Listing is almost done for those who'd like to add items to your shopping list http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridaySales/Store/Menards
sweetdiggity Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Thanks!!! I see a few deals worth stopping for on the way home.
amberjobryant Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 this is honsetly the best ad i have seen for the type of stuff i am looking for too bad the closest is 1.5hrs away!
jade6700 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 What do u all think of the amp? My son wants one for his guitar? I asked my husband, who's a musician. He said it depends on your son's needs. If he's just playing for himself, it should be fine. If he plays in a band, his opinion is it wouldn't be powerful enough to compete with a drummer. As for the brand, quality, etc. No opinion since he buys mostly brand name pricey stuff for recording purposes.
RaineeDay1 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 one of the best ads I have seen so far.. might have to go the 45 mins away to get some things
mgmckny Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Shame there aren't any here in Florida, I would definitely go there, saw several decent items and prices for my meager list.
HansieDZ Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 one of the best ads I have seen so far.. might have to go the 45 mins away to get some things I agree!I hope they still have some things left for the Saturday sale because no way would I get in that mess on Black Friday!
iluvwalmart Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Nothing that great I thought. That's ok cause after going there last year, I will NEVER step foot in a Menards on BF again. That place slowed me down way too much. Lines are worse then Walmart.

thuender Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Thanks Brad for getting this up! I'm going for the Polar Express train, Scooter, Metal Detector, Cudlee Pillows and Doodle/Pro/Etch a sketch.
triplej2002 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 This store had some great deals last year that I would have liked to have gotten too. I sure do wish they had one nearby, but unless I am willing to drive thru 3 or 4 states, it looks like I'm outta luck. :)
italianprincess Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Do they do any deals online for blackfriday
tinkrbel Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Shame there aren't any here in Florida, I would definitely go there, saw several decent items and prices for my meager list. Ditto. no real website for purchasing stuff either.
Cargirl Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 OMG I can't believe that Menards are not in evey state. I shop there weekly. They have a great ad and have freebies almost every week. I am able to get alot of items that I make into gift baskets and donate them to local fund raisers. This ad is great.
pogiporkchop Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I'm thinking I might actually stand in line in front of mine! Now to do a little store recon...
amyaj Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Wow! Menards might be the only store that I'm heading to. They have the Polar Express for 49.99! I don't like the "merchandise credit" rebate though.
amyaj Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Never been to Menards early morning on BF. I'm going to go because they have the Polar Express train and it's the only thing my 4 year old really wants. What time do people start lining up? Also, does Menards stock their BF merchandise in the same normal places? Thanks!
purplepenguin Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 People start lining up around 5AM. They are very organized and never let anyone skip in line and have balloons by every doorbuster and on endcaps not usually down isles. Last year by 5:30 there were lines snaked thru the parking lot.

nebraskaparkfan Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 The checkout lines are horrendous - as bad as kohls which is why I don't normally shop there. Can anyone tell from the scan which cricut cartridges are on sale? I've tried zooming and just get a big blur. I'm curious since I might try to price match over at walmart.

Can anyone tell from the scan which cricut cartridges are on sale? I've tried zooming and just get a big blur. I'm curious since I might try to price match over at walmart. Walmart has been clearancing out the regular cartridges and will only carry the "lite" cartridges from now on. You may get lucky if your Walmart hasn't sold out completely of the regular cartridges. When I price matched before they didn't look at the titles of the cartridges, just that they were Cricut cartridges. The one on the front is Tie the Knot. At Menard's last sale I recall them definitely having Sports Mania & Alphalicious. I think they also had Simply Sweet and Calligraphy, but I don't recall as I only bought the first two I listed.
purplepenguin Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I had no problem checking out went to the garden center it had 4 checkouts...
nebraskaparkfan Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Must be better garden center checkouts in wisconsin. Even the ones back there take close to an hour to check out in sioux city. But there are so many things I want and the only wm stuff I want is on sale at midnight.
lkonkel Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Menards always has a HUGE line at least by 4:30 near us in WI....however, my store usually has pretty fast check-outs. BUT, the only thing I hate is that you never know where an item is going to be...if it's a ladder, don't expect it to be in the ladder section!! HATE THAT!!! I like the post before me that stated that their Menards has big yellow balloons....our's doesn't do that. You're on your own getting pushed around!
