mrstoots Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Although the $3.00 deals at Target are impressive, I wonder about the quality of the item at that price...
Brad Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Although the $3.00 deals at Target are impressive, I wonder about the quality of the item at that price...and you know walmart will have a similar grouping in their ad for $3-4 as well - it's one of their yearly BF traditions, lol.
jb2013 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 and you know walmart will have a similar grouping in their ad for $3-4 as well - it's one of their yearly BF traditions, lol.You get what you pay for :]
hnybee411 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Sad as it is to say, it was the 50% off handy manny motorcylce from Kmart that my youngest wants and the shelves in the Lowe's ad for 45 as we desperately need them for our store room. Yes, very very sad.
heatherbade Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Haven't seen anything yet that makes my jaw drop. No Wii bundles, no PS3 bundles, no truly outstanding deals. I'm trying to get excited about BF but I'm still waiting for something wonderful. Maybe Walmart will pull thru for me....But where's the ad?Agreed
momof3luvs1 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I agree with some of the others, nothing has dropped my jaw. Now if I could find an add with $5 Snuggies...that might be jaw dropping for me. Office max has snuggies doorbusters for 4.99...
momof3luvs1 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 My jaw hasnt dropped but overall Im happy with the deals at Target and Kmart..will def be hitting up those stores for quite a few things =)
rjncmj Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Office max has snuggies doorbusters for 4.99... Thanks!!
CatandJacks Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing so far. I am optimistic though!
Spauny Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Like a lot of you, this year doesn't seem so exciting. The deals don't seem like deals to me. I will go out but not like I normally do at 3 or 4 am.
lilac100 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I'm hitting Old Navy, my son has that game on his list and I always get them some clothes.
H_Hancock Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 The only thing, so far, is the $249 laptop at BB---and that's not even a BF item. The GPS units seem to be nicely discounted. They're about the only things that seem to be "doorbusters" so far, at least to me.
starbeck96 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing I have seen so far has made my jaw drop in amazement. I would like to get the coffee maker from target for $3.00 bc father n law is an avid coffee drinker. It would make a great gift for him, but I'm not gonna fight for it. Besides our local Wal-Mart will probably be around that price. We don't have a Target here, so if it is $1 or $2 more at Wal-Mart, I will just buy it there because by the time we get to a Target they will be gone.
ktsmds Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing has dropped my jaw! I was hoping for some really good deals on DS games but I figure there will be sales prior and after BF!
elena_398 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing as yet, but I have hopes that the other ads may have something.
Kme1958 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing has really dropped my jaw, the target 32" TV sounds pretty good. Its not the best quality TV, and its not the size we wanted (37 is what we wanted) but we'll go with the flow. Waiting to see if Walmart has something comparable!
mrsjackrabbit Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 im interested in the tv at target. but its not a "have to have" item. hoping for another good deal on a laptop....i missed out on the walmart deal last saturday.
DramaQueenLucy Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Not being able to get in to GD sheesh I forgot what it gets like around BF...
andybrooke Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I never see anything on BF that I just have to get or that is super jaw dropping to me. I usually seem to find the ads that I have a few things interested in, I walk around those stores, if they have my items, good, if not... well, I figure that just gives me more $$ for another purchase elsewhere. I don't go too awfully crazy. I like to watch people fight over their items, and I just step back and people watch while getting a few items along the way... To me, its the thrill of watching people and getting a few deals along the way. :)
momlori Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing jaw dropping for me either. Must be the kids getting older because the video games they want are not on sale
raven20_79 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing jaw dropping for me, either. I did like Old Navy's ad, but not worth me getting up early for. I will just go to the mall later on in the day, and if there is stuff there, great. And if not, great. I am waiting to see what Bath & Body Works has. Hoping it is something good. I have a $50 gift certificate that I am hoping to use. And hopefully, Wal-Mart has something good. Otherwise, I will be getting up at a normal time.
angelashly Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Not jaw dropping but I am glad about the blu-ray/gc at Target, the Graco interactive smart baby set at Target, and Old Navy. Still waiting on BB, Meijer, and Walmart
kimmie0712 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing really jaw dropping for me, but I am pretty impressed with the GPS at Target as well as the blu-ray player with the gift card. There are some things there that I will check out before BF to see if I really want them. I think my jaw dropped at the fact that the Target ad was posted more than what was in it. I was so excited to see that Brad put it up.
rachealb Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Pretty much not enthused here either. I keep checking the ads to see if there is something I missed but havent found anything yet. Pretty disappointed with xbox 360 stuff so far- have seen better sales currently. The Xbox Live gc at Sears with the Elite console is sort of okay, but the fine print says 2 per store which I find pretty lame =( I think the Target $50 gc is better. So far not even planning on getting up early for BF shopping
berry1014 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Nothing yet for me! Saw some things I plan on getting but nothing that makes my jaw drop.
aimallis Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I agree with some of the others, nothing has dropped my jaw. Now if I could find an add with $5 Snuggies...that might be jaw dropping for me. Keep your eye out for the office max ad, if I remember right when they 1st posted the add they had snuggies REALLY cheap
nebraskaparkfan Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I'm hoping for some really cheap cricut or slice cartridges - but nothing I really want. My teen son is looking at xbox 360 bundles, but nothing really great there either. He's planning to go with a group of other 15-17 year old boys and hopefully a couple of them will get them. Which means I lose my shopping buddy.
