  1. I have the Kodak EasyShare CX6230. Okay if you aren't using it for much. Battery doesn't last long enough. Wouldn't recommend if you are using it for more than 4x6 pics. Next one I buy probably won't be a Kodak. Funny, since isn't that suppose to be like one of the Big Three in cameras?
  2. The closet Target to us is an hour away too and the Wal-mart here will price match to it. And any other store in that same radius. You might want to check with your store first to make sure that they will.
  3. That package is a really good deal too. The TV is regular $88.97 and the DVD player is $54.?? I will probably try to grab one for my 3 year old. She might as well have it too, everything else she has has Dora on it. Shoes... backpacks, coloring books, clothes... and on and on.
  4. This is so true. I have had about 4 different printers and it has held true for all of them. I need a new printer anyway. Will have to go to WM tomorrow and see if they have this one. Thanks for the info OP!

    Big Lots

I haven't seen an ad this year yet. Hoping it comes out. In years past, I have always gone out there, but it is always after Wal-Mart. They usually have a TG day sale and a BF sale. Both days like the first 100 or so through the door are suppose to get a free gift. Have never made it there in time for that though. But I usually get a few pretty good deals on toys and such. Plus Christmas cards are usually a pretty good deal on BF there.
  6. We watch Christmas movies all year long. The kids love them. We like Annabelle's Wish and that Mickey Mouse one. And the Grinch. But I think my favorite is the Peanuts one. But, we watch them all.
  7. From experience... It depends on which department at Wal-Mart how much the mark up is. Electronic is the loss leader. But they still don't lose a lot. Because when you buy that Gameboy for $49 on BF, what do you have to have to go with it? Games. That is where all of their money is made. And for those of you that buy store brands. That is where they really make their money. Mark up on those items is outrageous. You will hardly ever find an item that they are actually losing money on, unless it is clearance.
  8. Everything goes under as it is wrapped. Santa delivers on Christmas Eve after the kids are in bed though.

    Stockings

    Anything little enough to fit.
  10. That may be your store. When I worked at Wal-Mart we were all instructed not to say Merry Christmas or anything else that referred to a specific holiday. We could only say Happy Holidays. And that was true at both stores that I worked in.
  11. We try to go same amount of presents and money. I usually do this by buying each one gift at a time. I will put in a layaway with 3 things, all around the same price, one for each child. Usually works out pretty good.
  12. Yeah, mine too. He loves to tell people what great deals I got and he likes to stand in line with me while I ring up a buggy load of stuff and then start taking off the coupons and watching the total drop. The funny part is he will rush me through the store and not want to give me adequate time to get all of the best deals, but then wants to watch me check out. How weird is that? And on BF he either is all excited to go with me or wants nothing to do with it. And I never know which one I will wake up on BF morning. Some years I have made plans to go with my sister or a friend and he gets mad because I wasn't planning to go with him. But, as sure as I plan to go with him, he doesn't want to go. But, atleast I know I will always be there.

    Rebates

I've never had any trouble with rebates... other than remembering to mail them. :)
  14. You all have got me wanting all of them!! I put Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in layaway at Wal-Mart Saturday, then found it in the BF ad for Targer for $14.88. Will have to get the price adjusted on BF. Will probably get Stewie Griffin the Untold Story. Actually, we will probably end up with stacks of DVDs. We are a big movie family. Every year, everyone gets a stack of new movies.
  15. We have played that one at several parties and it is always a hit. And it works with all ages.
  16. Thanks, will have to drive by mine on the way to work today. Maybe I'll get lucky.
  17. I can't say anything about this site. But they have several E.L.F. products at the Target here that are all $1 each.
  18. They were right by the door as you came in at the one here.
  19. My oldest 2 have the Santa shop at their school. DS is a born bargain hunter. Doesn't matter how much I give him, he will get the most for his money. I also take them to the Dollar Store to finish their shopping. They get to pick all gifts themselves. One year DD got a calculator with large numbers on it for my mother, who wears glasses when she reads, so that she could see the numbers. She also got my mother in law a neon yellow notebook because she never had any paper when the kids would ask her from some to draw on. They have also bought various tools for every male on their shopping list. DD got a ceramic pineapple for a close friend of the family. They have bought toys for their dad. The list just goes on. It is so funny to see what they will pick for people. The other day, I asked the 3 year old what she wanted to get her daddy for Christmas. She said, "A toy!" Can't wait to see what that will be. Oh yeah. The best? gift that I ever got from my DS was a pooping reindeer. It was this little plastic statue that "pooped" out brown jellybeans. He thought it was hillarious and knew that I would too since I like to be silly and joke so much. He also got the same thing for his grandfather. He must have thought that that was just the best little thing ever. (I still have it in a box of Christmas decorations. So, I must too. :)
  20. For the majority I would say no. The year of the Furbies though, our Wal-Mart did give rain checks. It took them until right up until Christmas to get them all filled. :)
  21. Usually use about 3 kinds of paper, but don't use it to differentiate between kids. Just for variety. And Santa always uses some type of paper that is totally different from ours. Tree is a hodgepodge as we have built it over 9 years of collecting a new ornament each year for each of us.

    Renting a Kid!

That is the job for me!!
  23. Well, we have all 3 (I guess 4 actually as we have the PS One and PS 2). I had to asked the DH though, as I don't really use them. He says that depending on what types of games you will be focusing on will determine which one is best. PS is great for Role Playing games. X box is good for shooter type games; action games. Game cube is good for other types like Mario brothers and Monkey ball type games. My son, 8, plays all 4 though. He doesn't really prefer any one over the other. If I didn't have any of them, I would just go with a combination of the best deal and the one that supported the games that they wanted. Many games though are available for more than one or all. Hope this helps.
  24. Yeah here too. I could imaging one of these rednecks going off and hurting someone. LOL. They are serious about their BF sales here!
  25. Target, Target, Target, TARGET!!! But that is just my opinion. :)
