  1. There was an auction on e-bay a while back for a possessed Stitch (from Lilo & Stitch) toy. It went like $1000 or something. It was crazy!!
  2. OHHHH MYYY GOSSHHHH!! How crazy! Maybe I should start selling pics of fish! If I can get $107.50 a piece I could make a killing!! Just kidding. But who would be nuts enough to do it?
  3. Go nellyhill! I was going to do the same thing! LMAO!
  4. Family dollar has out a new coupon book for use in their store. It has a lot of nice coupons in it to use on top of their low prices.
  5. I am drooling waiting on it... they usually have pretty good deals.
  6. You all are to be reveered. I can't go longer that a few hours. Then I am ready for some McD breakfast and to go home and back to bed.
  7. When I worked at Wal-mart we didn't see the add until it was sent out in the mail. I don't know if the store manager had it before hand, but the department managers didn't get it until it was received in homes. One year, I received it at home the day before it was given out at work.
  8. Personally, I wouldn't pay anyone to shop for me on BF or any other day of the year. If we did that we wouldn't be able to get on here and brag about/share our great finds. Then what would be do all day?
  9. We baked up some of them last night and they were really good. P.S. This was my first new post. And I am really excited that I got to share something with this great group. (Just wanted to say that.)
  10. I have an Oritron that we got about 8 years ago. Has outlasted all others that we have gotten. Including the extremely expensive 5 disk changer that we got 4 years ago. The Oritron is still going strong. Only problem is we lost the remote in a move about 7 years ago and it is the only way to go through the menu to get to things like special features. But that is our fault, not the DVD players. Don't know about service on them though, as we have never needed it. But, we could just be the lucky one and have gotten the only good one they ever made. Who knows...
  11. Food is always good. This year, I have got my boss a candle set. I also have got lotion sets for the other girls in my department. Hope this helps.
  12. No because all stocking stuffers go in on Christmas Eve when Santa makes his deliveries and Santa doesn't wrap.
  13. It depends. Sometimes the item is a special buy and comes in at that price. Sometimes it is a regular item that is marked down for those hours. But, in a nutshell, the prices that are listed as 6-11a only are available during that time. They will have other sales going on the rest of the day... but nothing as good as those first hours.
  14. It asks for time zones when you enter your info. I am not sure what time zones you are in, but couldn't you maybe use the time zones to adjust to get the wake up call you want. Like, I am in EST, so for a 3 am wake up, I would just request a CST 4am wakeup. Does anyone know if this would work?
  15. At the Mt Sterling KY Wal-mart they have all of the Otis Spunkmeyer Pre-cut Cookie Dough marked down to $.98 a box. It is normally $2.27 a box. Not sure if this is just local or at all Supercenters. They had S'mores, patriotic chocolate chip and of course the halloween. Got me about 6 boxes.
  16. Good luck! Went yesterday and they were about wiped out. I did get a t-shirt for my son that says "My sister is a witch" and a pair of leggings with spider webs on them, a pack of black plastic cups, 3 packs of napkins with witches on them, a pair of pink and black striped tights, some gummy candy and autumn mix, straws with parasols and a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory activity book. Total was $3.74, including 6% sales tax. They still had lots of Thing, Bioncles and ninja kids costumes. A few other things.
  17. Target or Wal-mart. Would hit electronics in either store. Could spend 5 minutes in either. Boy, would my boys be happy after that!
  18. At the WM here, at which I use to work, they usually had more than one pallet of most items. They would bring out one pallet, then when it started to get low they would bring out another. Last year though, they had a couple of duplicate pallets out. I think how they do it is up to the store management.
  19. I would say that it depends on the child. But from what you have said, I would say that it would be fine. My son has had various stages of gb's since he was 4. He has done very well with it. I don't know if I would go with the DS though, as they seem easier to damage, due to the touch screen. But, with my 3 (the youngest 3yrs) I have to consider that, because even though it may belong to the 8 year old, the 3 year old WILL get her little hands on it.
  20. Haven't gotten it yet, and had been looking forward to it. Guess I will just hope for better BF items.
  21. As hard as this is to believe, I didn't even know that BF existed until about 9 years ago. Imagine my suprise the first time that I went to Wal-Mart for one! And I didn't know that other stores did this too. Now, it is my yearly ritual. About 4 years ago, I finally talked the hubby into going with me. Now, he makes sure that we have a sitter for that morning, so that he can go too. Sometimes we go to the same store, sometimes we divide up and go to seperate stores, depending on the deals. So, to get to my point, maybe they just don't know what it is. But, that is okay with me, because it makes it easier on me. :)
