I have a chance to get a free, with points, LeapPad thru my DH work. Only problem it is listed as pink and I need it for my grandson. I have not seen the pink one in the stores, but on Targets website it actually lists it as purple. Is the pink actually a purple color and would it be OK for a boy?

Saw it at Target today, and I thought it looked pretty good. Website has specs on it now. http://www.target.com/p/Nikon-L105-12-1-MP-Digital-Camera-with-15x-Optical-Zoom-Black/-/A-13774068 I actually like that it takes batteries. I don't take that many pictures, but I would rather take an extra pack of batteries with me than buy an extra lithium battery. Salesman checked and they had 122 in the store.

Son # 1 wants that Garmin - has to be 5" and LM (needs it for work). Same price as everyone else is selling on BF. Son #2 wants 3DS. I can get it here for $149.00 and just pick up extra games when they go on sale or fight on BF to get it for $179.00 with the game. Hmmm. Think I'm hitting Target Sunday morning.

My son wears the same thing for work (Walgreens) and last time we were there someone came up to him to ask for help while he was playing a game.

Finally a store with a DS3D deal. Except for that and the Bambi DVD (my favorite movie) and some regular household goods to snag while cheap, not really interesting.

Good article, and I liked JC Penneys responce: “We wanted to give our associates Thanksgiving Day to spend with their families,” said Bill Gentner, senior vice president for marketing. Good for them!

The only place I saw iTunes cards so far was at Walgreens. Buy a $30.00 pack and get a $10.00 Walgreens giftcard. I know I got some at Target last year too. -

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe because my kids are all grown up now, but the only things I am finding are things for the house (comforters, mattress pads, etc) that need to be replaced and waiting for the Lowes & Home Depot ad for my kitchen appliances. -
Don't forget to check stores you wouldn't think of. Walgreens has the game for $20 also. My son works there and was going to get it for his nephew (5yo), but I didn't know anything about it. I think now I will have him get it and also the Uno type Angry Birds game.

Thank you. Never thought I would ever win one. Will wear it with pride!

While there are some professions that have to work to keep us safe, etc. retail is not one of them. Hospitals, police, etc. have to be open on Christmas too, would that make it ok for retail stores to be open, just to get that last extra dollar?
-
I agree it is not a religious holiday, but it is a holiday where 'Family' gets together. As more and more stores open earlier on BF, employees are not going to be able to enjoy or spend family time together. Most employees only have to get to the store an hour or less before opening, but there are many more that need to get there hours before to set everything up.Whats next..moving Thanksgiving Dinner to another day, so the family can be together. Then greed and retail has won and Family has lost.

This year I'm looking for the 4 piece kitchen. Looked up what Lowes & HD had last year and hoping to get a good deal this year. DH wants to get them now, but I keep telling him to hold out until BF. They better not let me down this year.

Exercise Equipment....Buy now or wait?
Rose0426 replied to laddhorn's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Wait until BF. We picked up a good elliptical one a few years back at Sears. -
Finding the perfect gift for the best price (thanks to GD)

Keep an eye out on TRU. They usually have them starting in their Big Book, and don't wait if you see a good price. I used to work there and they always sold out pretty quickly. Sorry to hear about your daughter, but glad she is doing better now:gdclap:
