Wow, I didn't know Flaspoint was still on. I loved that show. Anyway, if you have a relative or VERY GOOD FRIEND that has Comcast, you can go online and watch these shows using their password. My daughter does this for HBO shows since she doesn't have Comcast.

I had a problem with Target the other day trying to use coupons. The clerk told me I could only use 1 coupon per transaction, even though I was buying 3 of the same item and had 2 coupons each for $1.00 of 1. I have never heard this and argued with her. She said she has been there for 6 years (even though the store has only been there 2 years). She finally got disgusted and scanned both coupons for me. It's not the money, its the principle. Even my daughter, who rarely uses coupons, never heard of their policy and agreed with me.

I used to work at TRU a few years ago and we did carry Ken clothes. There was never that much of a selection and it was hit or miss. If you have one nearby call them first to see if they have any in stock.

I picked up a Generac 5500 2 years ago when Home Depot had the Facebook sales during the summer. I think we paid about $350. We never used it until 2 weeks ago with the storm. We lost power for about 15 hours and were able to power our 2 sump pumps, refrigerator and our TV, until cable went out. It's one of those purchases you buy (DH thought I was crazy), but hope you never need to use, wonder if you wasted your money, but when you need it, are so glad you did. If not for our generator, the whole basement would have been flooded again.

Xbox with Kinex for grandson (was hoping for a better deal though) and a storage shed from Lowes. I can't believe I am excited over the shed, but I have been looking for one to store our generator and have my son retrofit it so we don't even have to open it while running. Comforters from Kohls for the boys rooms, and probably some movies. We decided this year we are taking the whole family on a vacation instead of buying gifts that they don't really need.

I am really disappointed in the video game area. I am hoping that they have better sales on the Xbox 360 w/kinect before BF. Last year they were 199 with a 50 GC. This year at Walmart it is 229 (online only). It is on sale for 199 at Target though, so I may try to PM at Walmart. Thats the only thing I am looking for, for my grandson. I was really hoping for it to be cheaper than last year. Even for my kids, they all have their own TV's, phones, game systems, etc, etc. They don't need anything, and when they do, they buy it themselves. We have no idea what to get them, and they are no help with ideas.

I think the only way to get it any cheaper is with a good coupon to a specific store. Does Kohls have it? Maybe use Kohls Cash to get it if they carry it.

Used mine last week, but it took me almost 2 hours looking around the store for something at a decent price (around $10) that looked good. I don't know if it is just my store, but they hardly had anything in the store, decent or cheap. Not what I am used to seeing there. Their womans department has dwindled down to almost nothing.

My stepson and his family always have a real one in their house and it looks beautiful. Last year, a praying mantis must have built its egg nest in there, and with the warmth of the house, you guessed it, thousands of baby praying mantis all over their house. They said it was a nightmare. This year they are going artificial .

They are a good store depending on what you are looking for. Everything is $1 - $5. Right now, pool toys are a great deal and you can't beat their prices. We get boogie boards there every year for $5. They also have exercise equipment, hand weights $1-5, yoga mats, stretch bands, etc. Worth checking them out just to get an idea what they carry.
