  1. Target has some Nascar stuff. My grandson loves to crash his cars and there is a new thing out called Nascar Bashers. They have cars and some trailers.
  2. Guess I shouldn't have refreshed all those times in the beginning.
  3. All I want are 2 games. Kept refreshing the site and the lower prices never showed up and couldn't put it in my cart. Now site crashed and I cant even see the games anymore. I heard that if you call, they are hanging up on people. Hope this isn't the way it's going to be on BF.
  4. I picked up a Generac 5500 2 years ago when Home Depot had the Facebook sales during the summer. I think we paid about $350. We never used it until 2 weeks ago with the storm. We lost power for about 15 hours and were able to power our 2 sump pumps, refrigerator and our TV, until cable went out. It's one of those purchases you buy (DH thought I was crazy), but hope you never need to use, wonder if you wasted your money, but when you need it, are so glad you did. If not for our generator, the whole basement would have been flooded again.
  5. Free coupon for 24 count Advil, while supplies last https://www.cvs.com/deals/deals.jsp?WT.mc_id=L_HPSlot3_11052012_DOD
  6. Xbox with Kinex for grandson (was hoping for a better deal though) and a storage shed from Lowes. I can't believe I am excited over the shed, but I have been looking for one to store our generator and have my son retrofit it so we don't even have to open it while running. Comforters from Kohls for the boys rooms, and probably some movies. We decided this year we are taking the whole family on a vacation instead of buying gifts that they don't really need.
  7. I am really disappointed in the video game area. I am hoping that they have better sales on the Xbox 360 w/kinect before BF. Last year they were 199 with a 50 GC. This year at Walmart it is 229 (online only). It is on sale for 199 at Target though, so I may try to PM at Walmart. Thats the only thing I am looking for, for my grandson. I was really hoping for it to be cheaper than last year. Even for my kids, they all have their own TV's, phones, game systems, etc, etc. They don't need anything, and when they do, they buy it themselves. We have no idea what to get them, and they are no help with ideas.
  8. Target has it in their BF ad for $29.95 and you get a $5.00 gift card. If you have their Red Card you can get it a little cheaper, but $25.00 is a good price. I think the only way to get it any cheaper is with a good coupon to a specific store. Does Kohls have it? Maybe use Kohls Cash to get it if they carry it.
  9. Don't forget to print out the $5.00 off $10.00 coupon before you go. http://www.hallmark.com/offers/store-offers/
  10. Being able to get a lot and spend a little, and having everyone think I went overboard in spending for them.
  11. Used mine last week, but it took me almost 2 hours looking around the store for something at a decent price (around $10) that looked good. I don't know if it is just my store, but they hardly had anything in the store, decent or cheap. Not what I am used to seeing there. Their womans department has dwindled down to almost nothing.
  12. My stepson and his family always have a real one in their house and it looks beautiful. Last year, a praying mantis must have built its egg nest in there, and with the warmth of the house, you guessed it, thousands of baby praying mantis all over their house. They said it was a nightmare. This year they are going artificial .
  13. About time. I remember when they used to do that, many, many years ago. I bet they won't do it for BF and doorbuster prices. I'm sure they'll find a loophole out of that.
  14. They are a good store depending on what you are looking for. Everything is $1 - $5. Right now, pool toys are a great deal and you can't beat their prices. We get boogie boards there every year for $5. They also have exercise equipment, hand weights $1-5, yoga mats, stretch bands, etc. Worth checking them out just to get an idea what they carry.
  15. Was waiting for a good sale on batteries. Ordered with store pickup as I have a BRU & TRU both 5 minutes away. Thanks for posting
  16. One thing I noticed is that all stores do not mark down the same way. Last week I got PJ bottoms for my grandson for $3 for a 2 pack at one store, and went to another one at the mall yesterday and they were $9. (Salesperson checked the price and couldn't give me a reason for the price difference) You would think all stores would have the same price. So if you have more than one store near you, check them all.
  17. I miss the coupons too, but after hearing all the great deals on here, I decided to check it out today. Got 2 tops for me at $2.00 each and got my grandson 3 long sleeve shirts, 2 pack of PJ bottoms, and a light jacket for $3.00 each. Not bad for $19.00 total. Have to check out what my other Penneys has now. I don't think it will work either as I think most people are like us, and will just wait to shop the deep clearance.
  18. Just another heads up that the 2nd half of the rewards expire on the 28th. Wouldn't want anyone to miss out on these either.
  19. The first half of the rewards expire tomorrow 1/13/12. I almost forgot, and would have lost $25.00
  20. TRU online is run by Amazon I think, not TRU. Thats why the prices are different than in the store sometimes, and online has more items than the stores do. And no, they don't know what they are getting until they get the manifest of what is on the truck, usually a day or two in advance of it, and now they are getting trucks probably only once a week.
  21. I think most stores won't restock anything major until they get back all the returns, so 6 weeks sounds about right. If something is out of stock in the store and online, where are they supposed to get it from? I'm sure they order in bulk for the season and once something is out, they would have to reorder from the manufacturer, and if the manufacturer is out, there is nothing anyone can do but wait until more are made. As far as letting you know when something is coming in, I used to work at TRU and until we got the manifest of what was on the truck, we had no idea what was coming in, and you would only get that a few days before the truck arrived. Now that Christmas is over, their trucks are coming in maybe once a week, where they were once a day before Christmas. My son's and grandsons birthdays are Dec 30 & 31. I have always just bought extra toys/gifts for them and put them away for their birthday. If I waited till after Christmas, there would be nothing in the stores to get them.
  22. Print flyer and take to participating stores http://friendlys.shc.c.goolara.net/BrowserViewer.aspx?ID=79939234797601788 Valid from 4pm-8pm It's my grandsons birthday today and sons birthday tomorrow, so this will be great.
