  1. I'm not sure that this doll does come with extra clothes. The description says it does, but the picture doesn't show it and one of the comments says that there weren't any extra clothes in hers. Still a good deal on the doll, even without the extras.
  2. African American doll is the same price. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Little-Mommy-Sweet-as-Me-Doll-African-American/15103540
  3. Order this one. If it doesn't get in by the time you need it you can always buy off the shelf on his birthday and when this one comes in return it with the receipt that you got from the one you got on his birthday, assuming it is the exact same item.
  4. Thanks for pointing that out. I was hoping to use it toward a video game but I'm not sure if that would work out...
  5. I got mine today. $10/$10. It came in a little mailer about the size of a postcard. It was addressed specifically to me, not general junk mail. I don't have a JCP card, but I did place an online order on BF.
  6. DOH! Why didn't I think of that? I left Walmart, backtracked to an actual Big Lots store for the Zhu Zhu set, then went back past Walmart on my way to my next stop. If I pm'd the playset at WM I might have made it to Kmart in time for the Blue Tooth headset I wanted! I would have saved time, anyways. Again, DOH!
  7. I started on Thanksgiving at Kmart, CVS, and Walgreens. There really wasn't anyone else out that morning, just a few people milling around and cashiers were waiting for customers. I got a few little things at Kmart to save time Friday. At the drug stores I used coupons to get bags full of toiletries, pop, candy, a universal remote, and a wii game. I paid, then I got back about twice that amout in Jingle Cash and ECB. My true BF started Thurs night. I got online around 10:30 to see what I could order. * 10:30 Kohl's online - no luck. I didn't know that the sale had started online hours before, so my items were OOS. * 12:00 JCP online - I had to fight the website for a while, but was finally able to get the coat and robe I was after. * 2:45 Kohl's store. When I got in there the line went across the store and around the corner. I was just past the bulding on the other side. We got in pretty quickly and I was back at my car at 3:18. I might have cut in line, I'm not sure. I was trying to get to the other side of the store where the line was shorter when I found myself standing in the checkout line, about 4 people back. The woman in what I thought was the line smiled and said "Go ahead, I'm waiting for someone." The 2 men next to her were also waiting. I looked behind me and couldn't see anyone waiting to checkout in the crowd. I'm pretty sure they were waiting behind all of the people that were still waiting for their shopping partners. I was able to get all I wanted and have Kohl's cash that I am hoping to turn into a new wallet for myself. * 4:00 Sears. Not busy at all. There were 3 others waiting at my door when it opened. I was able to get the coat I was after and get right back out. * 4:15 JCP. Got my snow globe and left. * 4:30 Target. Packed. $3 appliances were gone, lines went all around the stores both directions and people seemed really annoyed when they had to let you though. I got a couple dvds, a dvd player and a wii game. Since I was PMing the game I had to check out at customer service where I was 3rd in line. * 5:00 Walmart. There was someone at the entrance that made me turn left (toward pharmacy) even though I wanted to go straight (toward electronics) because the the check lines were to the right? Even 5 hours into the sale none of the employees knew where to find anything. I finally found what was left of the movies and dvds in dairy where I overheard someone talking about the mob an the fist fight that broke out at midnight for them. I chose 2 dvds and left. * 6:00 Big Lots. Not busy at all. I got my free after rebate batteries, a $5 zhu zhu house, and a $6 2-pack of dvds. After that it was all downhill. I checked 2 Kmarts and Staples - all were out of blue tooth headsets. Target #2 didn't have any sandwich makers, either. Walmart #2 did have a few more movies than the first one, but they were all over the store. My best finds were in a go-back bin in electronics. I thought that Michael's had Wiltion melts 2/$3, but I must have seen an ad from another region or mixed up the date. I did manage to get some T's 2/$5 - 25% coupon. Then a stop at Hallmark ($10/$10 purchase coupon) and Bath and Body Works (Free trial size with any purchase coupon) and back home.
  8. angelic680 posted a deal a few days ago for $169.99 at best buy, good through today. Is this the best I can hope for? http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?191844-Nintendo-Wii-Console-Bundle-169.99-Free-Shipping-Best-Buy&highlight=wii+console
  9. I'm guessing that we see more midnight sales, but I'm not too happy about it. I really wanted to be at Walmart by 11:00 but I was too tired to drive (not to mention make resonable decisions while out shopping) so I had to take a nap and wasn't able to go out till 2:30. I got to Walmart about 5:00 and missed most of the movies and games. I don't know if Target will go to midnight sales. They still close on Thanksgiving which makes me think that someone in the Target coporation might actually care what their employees think about working on a holiday.
  10. I know, I'm about a day too late. Now that BF is over, are there still deals to be had on a wii? The family just decided to go in on one as a gift and now I need to find a deal.
  11. I like my wondermop. It's like a twistable rag mop made out of sham-wow cloth. I'm a little ashamed to admit thinke the Big Top cake pan looks cool.
  12. Check your mailboxes. Today I received a coupon-card from Kohl's for an additional 15% off everything good 11/24-11/28. Good thinking, Kohl's! I was on the fence about going to Kohl's on BF (several stores have what I'm looking for) and I think this just made my decision. BF prices - 15%, and Kohl's cash back sounds good to me! I just registered my new email address with them, so hopefully I will get a $5 coupon, too.
  13. Wow, is this straight from the ad? It didn't seem like there were that many listed!
  14. According to the forcast Cleveland will be dropping from 66 today to a daytime high of 33 Thursday. It is expected to be windy with rain changing to snow overnight Thursday. Sounds great to me! I plan on going out early friday (or is it late thursday? I'm so confused!), but I have no intention of waiting in line for the $2 movies and $3 sandwich makers I plan on picking up. I'll stay nice and cozy in my car until opening time. Maybe the wind/rain/snow will dicourage some people from getting out of bed so I can show up 1/2 after opening and still get my goodies.
  15. I'm all for Buy Nothing Day, but can we celebrate it on Jan 1 instead?
  16. I asked at the customer service counter today and they gave me a flyer, limit one per household.
  17. If you are talking about the ones from Target's website, they should scan without a problem. If you have trouble finding a flyer go to Target's website, scroll to the bottom, click on coupons, and print up to 2 of each. The $5 Blu Ray is under electronic coupons.
  18. That's where I was for the last 2 years. Unfortunatly I lost my Mom last Feb. I thought that would make the holidays hard, but it hasn't really yet. There have been so many changes for us this year that everything would have been different even if she was still here. I did see an photo ornament that says "Always in our hearts" with room for her pic. I really want to get something like that. I am still really looking forward to the holidays this year. Money is tight, but that is OK. I had some things stashed for my kids and they have lots already. I am excited for my kids to be home from school and I am really looking forward to visiting my family a day's drive away.
  19. My DH insists on a few lumps - he says that's how he knows they are real! I just use my hand masher. Boil until soft, drain put butter in the bowl, add drained potatoes and mash. Salt and pepper to taste. If you like them creamier and sour cream, milk or cream. If you like them smoother use a hand mixer (or stand mixer if you have one.) Or you can really go wild and make them "loaded" - add sour cream, cheese, bacon, and/or chives.
  20. It's possible they will have them available in stores (like the toy books that are currently available in the toy dept.) or available to print from thier website. Or you could pick up a paper this weekend for the coupons.
  21. Nothing special, just another way of saying "lines".
  22. I finally gave in and bought Go-Go for $49, now they are offering here for $45. I'm glad thing I kept the receipt close! I would really like to get the Little People Nativity set - will that get any lower before Christmas?
  23. If you apply in store do they give you the card right there?
