Good ideas. How do you get notification of price changes? When I have items in my cart, I usually don't know about the price change until I go on the site.

Glad you asked, I am wanting to know too. Hopefully since they will start BF sales on Monday, the 21st, we can grab a few deals early. I will still be going out on BF tho, but I plan to shop amazon.com bcuz I heard the BF prices are great and I want to take advantage of that.

I highly doubt it. GD almost always has an ad posted first if it has leaked. The other sites prob just updated the year, but they're last years ads. If WalMart is posted, then you know its not real lol ..they always keep their stop their ad from being posted until like the Monday before BF.

I don't think she means ad as in a real ad. It was advertised on WalMart's website.

^^^ I agree. Since the store is open on Thanksgiving, none of the BF will be on sale then. They usually have a few Thanksgiving Day sales. Not many, but they do have some.

Correct. Layaway will NOT be available/open on BF, to put items on or take them off.

Kohl's has Christmas trees out?! Wow.

I saw that. I wonder if my dd3 will like that. She loves her Dance Star Mickey she got for Christmas last year. The new Mickey (Rock Star ??) doesn't look like much to me. I watched the demo, but wasn't thrilled about it.

I haven't seen the Christmas Shoes movie yet. I know its out there, but I haven't watched it yet. That's something I'll def do this holiday season. Love All I Want for Christmas by Mariah. I also forget to mention Let Them Know its Christmas (Feed the World) by Band Aid. I watched the video on YouTube last night lol

I know! I listen to it while Im wrapping gifts. Its great! ...btw, my children were singing Jingle Bells too lol , see even the kids feel the Christmas love already

I have to confess I've been listening to Christmas music for about a week & a half now. With all BF/Holiday talk, I've been really feeling festive, so I listen to it on Pandora. I will be so happy when our Christmas/Holiday forums open! Who's with me? lol ...& who thinks I'm crazy? ***EDIT*** Lets throw out some of our favorites while we're at it, if you feel like it. Here are a few of mine: Christmas Shoes Where Are You Christmas by Faith Hill ...she does an absolute awesome job on this song! Mary, did you know? Let it Snow by Boyz II Men Its Christmas (All Over the World) by New Edition Last Christmas by Wham I Want a Hippopontamus for Christmas lol ....& of course all the classics, but I just threw some out there.

I hope to be spending a tad bit more only bcuz I use my school check to do the majority of my BF/Christmas shopping (it comes about a week before BF). This semester I took a few more classes than I did last year around this time, so my refund check is about $800. I pick up things here and there if I can. I will be shopping more on amazon.com this year to get their must-haves for less.

Those are other things I took into consideration, too, was the games available and the brand. Most of dd3's educational toys are LeapFrog....How much is the iXL originally? Maybe put the 2 on layaway at KMart so you have the price locked in until you make your decision.

A pp & I were also talking about how hot this is gonna be. I didn't know whether to get the MobiGo, iXL, InnoTab or LeapPad. I'm going with the LeapPad bcuz of the camera feature. I'm gonna try to get it asap, I have a feeling I should not wait for BF on this. If it goes on sale, hopefully, I can get a price adjustment.

I have decided to do angel tree with my children this year, esp my dd9. Of course, all children like to receive gifts, but I want her to know that its more important to give. I'm thinking this will be an every year thing for us going forward.

I would think so because they are electronics, but I guess you would have to double check with your local store.

So excited about this!. Im thinking if it goes well this year, it will become a yearly thing. I will def be taking advantage of this. I dont care about the $5 fee, Im used to paying that at KMart and Burlington. But like a pp mentioned, Kmart is too expensive, so I would chose Walmart first anyday. Im not too upset abbout the "no BF" exception either, because my local WalMart's BF layaway line used to be ridiculous, so I never did it. The one good thing that Walmart has over other layaways tho, is that you dont have to make bi-weekly payments. In the video on their website, it says you can pay how much you want, whenver you want as long as its picked up by Dec. 16. No canceling if you miss a payment. I do wish they would offer the option of payig online like Kmart, tho. That is extremely convenient.

I saw the new sing-a-ma-jigs on walmart.com, they come with little babies that sing too ...I think these will be hot for sure.
