With hdtv's its usually a good idea to keep the box anyways. A lot of them are made so you can use the box again. It is definitely the best way to transport the tv if you are moving, since the padding is fitted to the tv.

Scored a George Foreman Grill. It was an as is repackage, which I think was the display. It is only the machine. But that doesnt matter because I have the tools and stuff for my other grill. Regular 19.99 Clearance 3.41:)

The CC in Green Bay moved to a different store last year. It moved into a former Dicks Sporting Goods so the store it set up different. What was nice though is that checking out was amazing. Granted we went there around 7am and not 5, but we got in line and out in under 15 minutes. They had a nice system set up.

Great Job Jim. I love how the heater was a "life saver" in 30 degree weather. Come on up to Wisconsin or Minnesota for BF. I would kill for 30 degree weather, you might even see people in shorts.:)

What are everyone's thoughts on waiting in line to check out. I had one great experience with this. I went with my then girlfriend, now fiance, to Best Buy. When we got in the store she waited a few minutes then hopped in line with an item. I then went around the store and got the rest of our stuff. I then handed all the items to her in line. This saved us probably about an hour. I know some places it is hard to get to the people in line, but where we were I just had to reach over a big screen tv box. Has anyone else done anything like this? How do you feel about it? I kind of felt bad doing it, but hey what can you do.

I always wondered why people got carts. It just makes you less mobile.

If you are planning on just using it for gaming the Pro is fine. If you want to download movies and a lot of stuff the Elite would be better. I use mine for gaming and I do download demos and things and my 40gb hard drive is big enough. With the 60gb it comes with now it shoudl be fine.

I think 6 years, which is pretty good since I am only 22.

Does anyone else take advantage of Kmart Thanksgiving day deals? I know I saw a few people last year who said it was a tradition. Last year I had a great experience with it. It was kind of like a BF warmup in a way. There were probably about 100 people in line when the store opened and I got my ticket item so it was fun. I also found what I felt was the best 32" lcd deal with the Olevia at $420 based on the quality and name, etc. and didnt have to wait in line on BF. But anyways, based on my experience last year I may be going back to Kmart on Thanksgiving day again this year as they had some other good deals.

I was at Kmart on Thanksgiving to get the Olevia 32" LCD. They handed out tickets an hour before opening. They had way less Wii than advertised which made people mad, but they had plenty of tvs. BTW I think the Olevia was the best 32" deal last year based on quality, price, and brand. And best part was I waited 1 hour in line, not an entire night, plus it was on Thanksgiving and not BF.

Well apparently they found my package and changed the shipping to UPS 2nd Day Air when it was originally USPS first class. So I got my game today after all!

Tony Hawk also 29.95 here. Got NFL Street 2 for Xbox for 1.24, not a huge fan of the original Xbox games anymore, but this is actually a pretty fun game and 1.24 is less than a rental!

Watching it right now. Regular cable actually looks pretty good and the hd channels it picks up are amazing. Sound quality is actually pretty good too. Xbox 360 is wow!

These are the ones that rang up for 4.99 earlier this summer at the stores. MP3 player is nice cuz it has USB built in so it is drag and drop. The cards for the 12 months of free eMusic expired in October though!

Went to Shopko today and they had 11 wii in stock. Got one without waiting in line.

I got Perfect Dark Zero for Xbox 360 for 7.00 today. It was marked 15 but rang up at 7. I noticed the games with the yellow "everyday" price that looks like a clearance sticker rang up at what they were supposed to. The ones with brighter yellow clearance tags rang up for less than what they said.

No kidding, since the game is normally 39.99. It said in the add 50% off 29.99 but the slip was 39.99 and it rang up 29.99 PROMO then the 50% came off. Nice 25$ savings.

Went to TRU to pick up Madden for PS2 at 14.99. There was no one there waiting to get in.
