Our Toy Works here closed years ago but I went the last day they were open when it was 90% off. Actually found some good deals as they were pulling stuff out of the back that hadn't seen daylight in years but were still brand new.

What she failed to mention was that it was ME at the store alone dragging around 2 carts. I actually had to check out and go back in the store because I couldnt push it all alone. There were only about 5 or so people there shopping in the section. It worked to my advantage this year as we got 1/2 inch of ice last night and the roads were really bad this morning. They were running carts out from the back with random stuff on them the entire time I was there. The ziploc bags went fast, obviously, but they also had tons of baking items. I also scored the flatware set for 4.99 that was 49.99 regular and plates that go with it for 2.99 from 29.99. The guy had just brought them out from the back. Other big items were a tree and a lighted train outdoor thing that was regular 89.99. All in all I had a lot of stuff because I was buying for numerous people who couldnt make it out because of the weather so the savings came to well over 850.00. That was fun.:)

I wouldnt get too excited about that, Call of Duty 4 has never even been on sale that low.

I received mine awhile ago. It is very nice.

You may want to go with LCD in that case. Also something to keep in mind, LCD uses a lot less energy than plasma.

Be careful with hiding movies. They change the UPC's on the blitz dvds sometimes.

Has anyone seen the Xbox 360 charging kit for more than 50% off? I saw it today and it is at 50% off at about 10 dollars and was just wondering if maybe it might go 75% off next week. They have a lot left so I figured I should be able to wait.

Only stores I am interested in are Walmart for the $2 dvd's and Dick's for $5 golf balls. Everything else depends on everyone else.

On the back by where you plug in the AV cables. There is a barcode and above it the serial number is listed. It says serial next to it so it's pretty easy to find. This is a great deal, hope he likes it.

Amazing that Xbox is offering this deal. Considering with this deal for 229.98 you get the pro with 40gb less memory and no headset. Big deal, I have a ton of stuff on my Xbox and am not even close to filling my 20gb hd and you can get a headset for pennies online. Good deal.

Funny you say that Aaron, but last year there were numerous people who were there at opening and went in, grabbed the globe and left.

I'm getting married in June. I want to get some of this stuff, but my fiance says we need to wait till after we get gifts. (We havent registered yet) BTW: Not very impressed so far.

Zune also has an FM tuner which no Ipod will ever have. They are also introducing a new feature with the FM tuner. The radio stations broadcast an inaudible signal to your Zune telling you the song and you have the ability to buy the download if you are into buying songs. Just another thing you can look at.
