I got my paper out of a machine today. I threw in 2.00 and it wouldn't open! But then I tried stopping at 0.75 and pulling and it worked! The person forgot to change it to the 2.00 price! The BF money saving started early!

Did opening it void the warranty? I am wondering because I know I can reconnect everything, but I dont want to void the warranty.

For anyone wondering about tv's. Our Target had about 40 of the Westinghouse and about 20 Apex on the floor last night.

Common etiquette would be that an actual human being must be in the spot. I have seen people stand in line for some of the night and someone comes for the rest of the night. Sometimes people get a little mad at that, but at least there was an actual person there and the number of people in line does not change (The person who left does not come back). Now if you are saving spots for people who have not been there, I do not agree with that and the other people in line will not either.

That is actually a nice setup. If you add a nice graphics card you are in business. I'm actually considering this guy now. Anyone know of Sears online codes for electronics or computers? Or does the F&F sale work online and should I wait for that?

My local Target has had both the Kinect by itself and the bundle in stock the past 3 times I have been there. But overall I have heard what more about them not being in stock. I dont know if there is a lack of interest here or they are high on priority.

Extremely disappointed in the lack of deals on higher end desktops this year. I was hoping for a deal on something that had at least a Phenom x4 in it, but the best I see at a store is the Athlon x4 at Staples. Am I right or am I missing one?

Waiting to find out Dell and Newegg online deals. Will those be posted here? Or is there a thread dedicated to online sites like newegg, amazon, etc?

I feel like the retailers are focusing on higher quality items rather than just super low prices.

WM and Sams Club definitely are different from each other. I know this from experiences working with them with my employer. I would say go for it.

Interesting ad. It seems like they are not going to push "cheap" items from off brands like they usually do, unless they are releasing 5-10 unadvertised specials the day before like the past few years. It seems like a staple of Best Buy is always a dirt cheap desktop, a 32" off brand lcd, and a 2-4gb mp3 player from an off brand for very cheap. This is an interesting change of pace for these guys.

It's becoming a laptop world. Sad day. Go to a store once, the laptop to desktop ratio is about 10:1.

I think it is a crime that they can give you weather "forecasts" for that far away. You cannot accurately predict the weather that is going to happen 3 days from now, not to mention almost 3 weeks.

And if they dont price match, you can always just return the item.

I could tell it was a JCP ad, lol. It took about 10 times longer to download the ad because of how big it is.

TRU has a good deal on BF on the the Xbox Wireless headset at 24.99. That is half off. I use it and love it.

You get what you pay for. That is a good price for a Samsung 32" If we see a $200 32" it is going to be an off brand.

We had a 32" Westinghouse lcd that was well out of warranty that we called Westinghouse about because it was getting glitchy. They told us to send it in and they would fix it. So i had to drop $50 to ship it to them. To my surprise I got back a newer model 32" refurbished lcd FREE OF CHARGE. That tv has been working great for over a year now. I also have a Westinghouse 26" lcd that was the FLOOR MODEL at Target so it has many many hours on it and it works fine. So I would disagree with the service complaint and also say that I have had good experiences with their tvs.

I wish I had to worry about rain....:)

Something to keep in mind too is energy consumption. A plasma will typically use about 3 times more energy than an lcd. It is even more when you compare to led tvs which are the most energy efficient we have ever seen. For some people on a budget this could be a huge deal breaker.
