I agree with above comment. I have used layaway for 20 years. I knew where the stuff was and how much to pay onit each week. I had 5 layaways at a time one year. I now lay away everything at the Farm supply for my husband, it's his kind of thing. I buy Walmart giftcards and put money on them and if I find something I want, the money is there. In two years i went from having three kids at home, to having two new spouses and 5 step grandchildren and 1 new one. That's a lot of extra people to buy for. I have been buying all year long and putting it up for the little ones. If my 12 year old son told me something he wanted since summer, I bought it. I have him bought for. I only need a few things for the older ones and I'm done. So layaway may be gone from Walmart, but there are other ways to get around it.

My favorite good quality merchandise store is Shopko. Is there a mention of it here anywhere? I haven't been able to find it.

I have never bought from them before, but signed up last week to try and get bras. I got an email today for 20 off anything, but it has a special code I think can only be used once. The promo is take 20, then I have a bunch of numbers to enter. I'll submit them once I use it to see if it worksl

Kmart has always had layaway, also our Sears is next door to Kmart and Kmart has a lot of their Craftsman tools cheaper .The Sears salesman told me if he had his way things would be different but he told me he would pricematch any Kmart item i needed Black friday since I hate Kmart.

I got a new puppy two months ago and had a blast buying new clothes. My groomer gave me a magazine called petedge. Everything in it is wholesale. She said you won't find any of this stuff in petsmart or walmart. It's professional quality. I have a shopping cart full of clearance stuff like a tub of hairclips( I have a shih tzu and 5 granddaughters) 140 pieces regular 12 for 1.50. It's full of great clothing . I have a sweater in m y cart for ,99. was ten . You have to have a m inimum to avoid charge since it is wholesale, But I saved so much over retail I didn't mind paying the extra. For food I only use Hills Science and it's cheaper at my vet or Nutrena Loyall from the local farm store. My puppy couldn't be healthier.

Two years ago I bought th Ventureer 10 inch home theatre system with two sets of headphones per player. Black Friday they were 179 but after that they kept being reduced until right before Christmas they werew 75.They hook to the back of the headrest. Great thing is they can turn the sound off so I can listen to the radio while they wear wireless headsets. I also hooked them up to the extra Durabrand player in the back of the mini van So i have three screens going when my grandkids are with me.Only drawback is I had to send them in because youngest kid tends to grab it when he wants to change movies, breaking clips that hold it shut. After second repair, I cut a metal piece of a hair clipand epoxied it to the player and now it cannot break anymore.

Sears supervisor online told me yesterday that the drill I want at Kmart, I could buy there because they pricematch anything.

I also ordered everything I needed like the gold zelda nintendo ds bundle online, Didn't want to take a chance on not getting it, good thing my walmart didn't get any.going to do the same thing with kmart's craftsman drill , but ordering from sears instead. they informed me yesterday that they will pricematcdh anyone's ad, even online and since the own kmart, that one should be easy.

The supervisor on sears.com customer service told me whoever makes trhe sale gets credit for it, so when my order was wrong on line, since I was picking it up in store, store gets credit for it, so all they can do is ask the store to give me the price break, but final decision is stores

I got an email this morning saying monday thru saturday sale. I clicked on it to look at Craftsman Drills, which will be 39.00 black friday at Kmart and there were 40.00 drill bit sets saying 9.99/. when I try to buy them they raise to 14.99.Another set sayin 15.99 goes up to 23.99. Tried some childrens jewelry boxes and same thing 11 went to 18. I called them and they said fine they'd change it. When my email comes regular price. Called aagain and was told 9.99 was wrong I couldn't have it and was no notes in order. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they don't have authority to change because I was picking up in store to avoid shipping charges. They put in a request for store to honor price and told me to print page and take with me. I hate Sears.

They might be calling this a birthday code when you check out, but I just signed up a few weeks ago and they sent me the email with this code and said it was an insider bonus. As my birthday is in March , it obviously isn't a birthday code.

Just placed my order and remembered a 25% off code they sent me two weeks ago. Looked it up it's NOVMP1. It worked. I got an extra 25% off my clearance stuff.

Hot Topic just sent me and email stating they marked their clearance down 50% more. If you've got a teen or young adult, they will love this stuff.

I bought Monopoly Simpsons for my son in July. Jc Penney had it marked to 15.00. They had other versions also. This was in Quincy, Ill

Shopko has frequent by1 get one half off and also Kmart, but they don't have a big selection. My son wants bionicle axalara. Last spring I bought several big sets at Walmart and Shopko real cheap. I paid 15 for a 70 dollar set and 6 for 2 20.00 sets. I give them to my son and grandson for extra presents. I'm going to go ahead and order the bionicle set at Walmart.com and if it is cheaper anywhere else . I'll return it and repurchase it.

Now that it is sold out the price has changed to regular price showing at 39. With shipping it is too much when you look at the bad reviews. I'm glad I didn't order it.

I needed a charcoal one last xmas and looked for weeks, even trying to order a Weber off of Amazon. Was cheated there like usual, but since I refuse to buy inferior garbage like Charbroil, I went to the local Ace Hardware and they had a few Webers all year round, ended up buying one at a Farm and Home in another close big town on sale two weeks befoe Christmas for 50.00, down from 80.00. I wouldn't buy anything buy a Weber, the rest are all inferior, we've had ours 25 years.

i bought the phillips home theater system in the bb ad today at about 10 this morning and when i got on there earlier they were sold out. i'm waiting on the nintendo gold ds to be able to buy, the pics there but it does nothing when i click on it, if i get it i can wait until 6 or 7 in the morning to go to our nearest big shopping town and get everything else, there's never hardly anyone there on bf, we have no trouble getting most items.

I am wanting this item too. I am in central illinois and nesarest store is 60 miles. I always go to a diff. town other direction, no bb. I am going to try to get it online at midnight. if that doesn't work, going to bb and try to get it , come back home, meet mom and go other direction. we never go before 8 am and have never not got anything we wanted. our area does not have these lines every one else talks about. if i don't get it at bb, sears kmart and who knows if walmart had it, but the price is the same at all storesm, only bb has extra stuff free.

I go there every week, they told me they adjust receipts for 1 week. and they only allow 1 coupon to be used at a time. If for instance you got your percentage off and had a coupon for extra dollars off which they send me frequently, you can still use it. Not sure about extra percentage though, i'll ask wednesday when i'm there. they have two 60 dollar valances on clearance for 4 dollars right now. got to get them before someone else does.

My son 10 also wanted this because no one else had it until he found out there are two new bundles being released bf so far we know at Sears. Gold with triforce logo and zelda game and rose color with paw prints and nintendogs. It is 149. you can go to walmart.com and order a bundle and choose the color, white pink or black and choose the games and options. I can't remember the price.

I have always got 3 or 4 layaways going at walmart having three kids and 3 grandkids. You should always ask them to scsan your receipt on pickup and they will adjust all prices. I have actually gottn money back doing this. I will this time because i have gba games on layaway and walmart here marked all 20 dollar ones to 5 yesterday.

it's probably small town, I live in one and we get what is called shoppers from the two nearest big towns where you can advertise for free and all the stores insert an ad, aldi's hyvee, farm and home walmart etc. I get lots.

I tried that with gameboy last year, the bf ones come in with different upc codes and the ones already in the store won't work.
