I refuse to do cash or giftcards. I find them impersonal and with little thought. THat's just my opinion. My sister's kids like them, but I just don't . I give movies, cologne gift sets, books, things like that. I have a 15 year old son and I bought him a cool wallet on 6pm, a bunch of movies, video games, he even wanted a fedora. He's getting insulated rubber boots, a carharrt coat, an illuminated keyboard, some expensive stuff, but lots of the inexpensive stuff also. I like for people to have lots of things to open. He can always use a hoody. When in doubt, always buy a hoody, everyone wears them, but never a sweatshirt according to my kids.

When I did that all the sale prices disappeared and they went up 30.00. I called them and although I could see the sale price in my recently viewed items. she couldn't . She could only refer it to the correct department. I just ordered a pair of Sorel boots from 6pm.com at a much lower price.

We went to Walmart at about 6am. It was empty. I bought windshield wiper fluid and things like that. I already had 16 packages coming from my online shopping but my mom won't do online shopping. I listened to her whine about everything being gone and Black Friday being a joke. We went to Shopko were the parking lot was full and I got the gun safe I wanted and a few other things, small things. My mom still had nothing. Kept putting things back, saying maybe she'd come back later and get them. Went on to Joan's and got some really good buy's there. We went to Kmart and spent nothing, while my mom still griping about it being a joke. We stopped at Kohl's on our way out of town, we walked in , it was about 1 in the afternoon by then, I could have gotten a lot in there, but the line went all teh way around both sides of the store to the back . My mom said no way was she waiting in that line for nothing. SHe went home and actually bought 2 items on Kohl's.com and got the extra 20% off and the free shipping and Kohl's cash just for shopping online. I now have over 20 packages coming, most from amazon. 2 from 6pm,com,, 1 from sierratrading post for a Carhart coat and a carseat from babiesrus.

Most people here in central illinois work in factories and make 12.00 -15.00 an hour like my daughter. She struggles. Even making 31.00 an hour, we qualified for energy assistance and they will pay our electric and gas for the next 2 months. During the winter my husband is off some, not always, but this winter he has been off more than usual. We do real well when he is working and put a lot of money in the bank and our benefits are all paid on top of wages, but that is still considered lower middle class, upper poverty level according to the guidelines. We own our own home and our 3 vehicles are paid for, I'm not complaining at all, but just saying that's how it is.

Even unemployment pays better than that.j My husband gets 550 a week unemployment and that is tough for us. There is no way I could make it. Correct, it won't work on the doorbusters since layaway is closed at that time. When layaway opens back up, you can pick up your layaway at the current price. SOme of those black friday prices last 3 days. You won't be able to get the ones that are only for a few hours.

Yes, you can never get a lightning deal price without buying it from that page. That's when your 15 minute clock starts ticking.

I let the first one time out because I didn't know if my grandkids all 3 had 3ds's, so I just called them with 5 minutes left on the promotion and went through and did it again. Took it all just fine.
