With the fire, they are just now coming out with the new models. SOme models shipped just this week. You won't get a better price and it's usually 12 -18 months until they introduce a new model. Amazon doesn't put them on sale, the lightning deal last week was a rare thing, but it was just on the regular fire.

That's the reason that the kids that want them won't have them. It's not right for people to do that. It makes me furious when people buy more than they need to try and resell for profit. You won' t find one in store until every single preorder is fulfilled. IF they oversold preorders, it isn't going to happen. I called them and that's what I was told.

We preordered ours from Best Buy on September 16. Ours shipped on Friday, weill be here today. DOn't lknow how we lucked out. I had put it in the cart the week before to show my teenage son how much it would be total with tax. He had been saving since early spring because he knew it would be released this year. He gets 10.00 allowance. He didn't think he would have enough money so left the website for a week and said no. A week later he was really wanting it again and everyone was out of preorders. He got on Best Buy and tehy were sold out on preorders . He kept looking on the site and looked up at the cart icon and it still showed the preorder in our cart. It allowed us to check out and preorder . When I called to question it, she said not to worry. No Wii U's would be sold in the stores until every single preorder was fulfilled even if it took multiple shipments.

NOt true, you can use any hotspot with the kindle also, many people use their cell phones as hotspots for their kindles. Just because it's a different kind of tablet doesn't make any difference.

They have a clock that will say, deal starts in, then once it starts it will say count down , and it starts counting down. some things are claimed in 2 minutes, with 3 hours left on clock. Most deals last 4 hours, but the hot ones sell out in minutes, some don't sell out at all. The Fisher price mat I wanted sold out immediately, but still has 3 1/2 hours left on clock.

They only have a certain amount. Sometimes maybe only 5 or 10. It's not 30 minutes until you can get them, it's 30 minutes until the end of the deal. Every deal lasts so many hours or until it runs out, but the clock keeps ticking.

Most of us have prime this time of year, we grab them during the lightning deals and you really need prime for that. I created a new gmail account just to get free prime for the month yesterday. I got all mine shipped freer 2 day prime.

You can't sign up for amazon mom anymore, amazon had too many people abusing it and they have suspended it. My sister tried to sign up and I tried to sign up with a different email and we both got the same message that the program was suspended for now. The monthly membership was only a trial program to see how it works and it was only offered to customers who have never had prime before. If you ahve never had prime before the option would show for you. If you have had prime before, it would not

Yes, I was going to post , but I forgot, If you want your kindle put into 2 boxes, select it is a gift and it will be put into a separate box, otherwise the shipping label is put on the kindle box itsself. One man over on teh amazon forums, threw such a fit a couple of weeks ago, he took pictures and said they damaged his gift and he actually sent it back and called amazon and reordered it. Amazon has always done this. It's part of their green program.

If you click on the link and it just gives the 79$ option, you have had prime in the past and are not eligible. I had prime mom in the past, so I couldn't do it. What I did was just get a new gmail account and get a free prime month trial again. It's my 5th one. I wanted my emails to go to my regular email address with my billing, So I sent an invite to my normal amazon account and accepted it. I can now use the prime shipping on my regular account and ignore the new account completely. OVer on amazon forums, those people would be turning me in and calling me names, but on here, most people would do the same thing.
