As a size 11 women’s, I’m right there with you, ilikefree... This one hurts.

So one of my best friends has a Valentine’s Day birthday. Since he lives a solid 4.5-5 hrs drive away from me, I send him a box with his gifts every year, which always includes a batch of his fave lemon cookies. This year, he actually had the day off so he was home when his box came. He had cookies for lunch. lol [emoji38][emoji106] In other news, I have hit the 115 lb weight loss mark as of this morning. So geeked. Here’s my latest side-by-sides from Friday.

Update on my blue beauty! She is fixable and I will have her back in about 2 weeks, if repairs go smoothly. So glad I don’t have to go car shopping again so soon. That would’ve really stunk for me on a variety of levels. lol I concur with the short week being a good thing. Work was unexpectedly very busy and I was more than ready for a weekend. In the final planning stages for first NASCAR trip of my “season” - I head to LV with one of my best friends at the end of Feb for the race weekend (3/1-3/3). All we have left to book is our rental car. Win. [emoji106]

Happy New Year, GottaDeal fam! I hosted my church’s NYE party last night & got home about 2:30. Back up around 9 this morning, ran a couple errands, had lunch, took a nap. Quiet day. Cats are enjoying having me home. lol

Cheap Christmas candy hunting for my church’s NYE party (that I’m running) - Meijer was only 30% off yesterday. They can do better than that... Punks. lol [emoji38]

Thanks. Body shop got my blue baby this morning. (First day they’ve been open since it happened.) The guys are cautiously optimistic about being able to repair it based on what they could see, but they’re going to call me tomorrow once they get it apart.

No no NO! I do NOT want them totaling it. I get where you’re coming from but I drive my cars into the ground so resale value is not important to me (I typically either pass along to friends or donate my cars when I’m done with them). Not having to shop for another car right now would be far nicer for me. As for possible pillar damage, the hood got shoved back and under the pillar trim a bit on the driver’s side. I’m guessing that’s what you might have been looking at. I’ll know more, though, once the body shop gets a look at it. For what it’s worth, my brother (state trooper) says most likely fixable since airbags did not deploy. I’m hoping he’s right. Merry Christmas to all!

Today, it’s whatever I have in my fridge. Dad & I will have our Christmas Thursday.

No but I’ve heard about them. Think it’s time to do some research & invest. I’m sick of being hit. (And heartsick that it kills them every time. Awful.) No antlers. Santa’s team is safe. lol

I swear I am a deer magnet... [emoji37] This is third car in a row I’ve owned that’s been hit by one of the blasted creatures in the first 6 months of me owning it... I’m fine, deer’s not, car is TBD. Should be repairable if no hidden frame damage under the body damage. Happened last night when I was less than 5 miles from home. Grrrrrr...

You're fired... LOL I love it but I get that not everyone does. Meanwhile, I may get the boot myself for saying I can't stand A Christmas Story. That movie just drives me nuts for some reason. lol

I must say you gave me a challenge this year, stevierocks... Most of my normal go-tos were not things on your list, so I had to get creative. Hope you caught the theme of a cozy day in to enjoy some reading! Sincere thanks for giving me the opportunity to rise to the challenge and give you fun things! (Part of why I love doing SS every year!)

Sounds about right from a kid. I know I did stuff like that to my parents, too, because I really often had no clue just how much I was asking of them!

Round 1 got shipped out on time just under the wire. Over the weekend, I made another 50ish dozen cookies. I have three batches of cookies left to go, plus three pans of fudge and a pan of brownies. On my agenda tonight is one batch of the cookies and the fudge & brownies. I'll finish the other two batches of cookies tomorrow night and ship it all out Wednesday.

At least you didn’t have one of those bomb threats that were reported around the country come in to your office... (Yep my office and our manufacturing plant in OH both were among the many places that received those threats today.)

I wish... Thinking my apartment complex would not approve of the “upgrades”. lol

Down to three loaves of pumpkin bread and a pan of fudge for tomorrow's shipment. I cranked out quite a bit last night. This "Team No Sleep" girl still got 4 solid hours of shut-eye last night. Impressed with myself. lol
