  1. What did you do? Hack mine or Brad's PMs to find out? lol
  2. The one off the back of the Mauna Loa bags of macs has been my “go to” for years. Here’s a link: http://wegottaeat.com/comparts4less/recipes/mauna-loa-white-chocolate-chip-cookies [emoji4][emoji106]
  3. Ha! Keep trying, man... [emoji38]
  4. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! So geeked and so floored at the same time! This comes at such a perfect time. [emoji170][emoji16][emoji106]
  5. Welcome to December, y’all! [emoji4] Time to kick my baking into high gear and get the gears in motion for the church NYE party I throw every year. Where did the year go??? lol
  6. A year’s worth of scoopable cat litter for two cats: $38.06 (!!!)
  7. Done with “MOBILE25” code through the app for 25% off. [emoji16][emoji106]
  8. Sending prayers for your hubby today... That's rough. On a pretty strict budget myself this year, so high on my list is GCs to places like Meijer and Target to help my dollars stretch a little farther while I work through this tight spot.
  9. Yes! WAR EAGLE!!! (Knew I liked you! lol) Try the crumble topping from this recipe (adjust brown sugar to taste): https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/15633/gourmet-sweet-potato-classic/?internalSource=hub%20recipe&referringContentType=Search&clickId=cardslot%203
  10. And, if you're quick when the sale starts online Sunday night/Mon morning, you can often get the 25% off friends and family coupon code to still work. Big bonus.
  11. They expect most to not be paying as much attention to the pre-BF deals available. (And truthfully, most don't.) Those of us here (like you and I) know to keep our eyes open for (and then we often get the same or better) deals long before BF.
  12. I just want the stuff in it this time. I'm sure I can find a home for the bag. Dug through my coupons and I have two I can use, I think. One's a $10 off $30. Other's a free gift one, if I remember right. I'll take it.
  13. That's unfortunate. I got the Rayovacs last year too, no leaking issues here. Bad batch, sounds like.
  14. Dearborn hams are killer. I love to be able to splurge on one every so often. Sooooooo good.
  15. I actually missed out on the Walmart phone deal Thursday night last year, so I headed to Target Friday morning with relatively low expectations of actually getting one but figured "couldn't hurt to ask" (hey - $250 GC is still better than nothing, right? lol) so I wandered back to the electronics department. Got lucky. Was looking for an Xs 256GB, ideally in gold. They actually still had that available. Added my name to the list, gave me an estimated wait time, and said they would text me when it was my turn and I then had 30 mins to return to the counter (I mentioned I'd be walking next door to Meijer to grab a few items to kill time). The process was a bit slow once I got back to the counter but that was due to system tech problems across the board, not Target's issue specifically. The Target employee I was working with was, I'm sure, grateful that I had "packed my patience", so to speak, because I pretty much figured there might be tech glitches with thousands upon thousands of people getting new phones essentially all at once. It also helped that I wasn't in a hurry to be anywhere else by that point. I did my best to keep a smile on my face (or at least in my overall attitude) as we worked through the process. In the end, I left with my new phone, a shiny new $250 GC, and hopefully gave the poor associate something good to remember as she worked through what I am certain is a stressful time for them.
  16. Agreed on the weak coupon game this year. I'll still use what I can, though.
  17. Sounds like, because of dad's and my work schedules this year, there will only be Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant around noon on Thursday for us, so zero leftovers. Such is life. I'll be working at some point on Friday, so probably just sandwich and veggie (sliced up cucumber/celery/carrots or something) in my "lunch cooler" for lunch/dinner. Might try to pick up a small turkey breast for myself to make over the weekend, but no big plans this time around.
  18. I voted range because I've been doing a lot more cooking at home lately and, seeing as it's just me, it's easier for me to throw something on the stove/in the oven when I get home. I'm not a fan of eating leftovers of most things, so this allows me to make the small amount I want more easily.
  19. I'm just waiting to see if they'll have a good battery deal again. They're in a shopping plaza literally right across the street from my complex, so easy enough to sneak over there quickly.
  20. Heck, I want it to play with in my office!
  21. Oh gosh. I might actually have a shorter list than most because I don't watch much TV these days, but... 1) It's A Wonderful Life 2) Home Alone 1&2 3) Christmas Vacation 4) Santa Clause and while not full length movies, I love A Charlie Brown Christmas and the animated The Grinch Who Stole Christmas cartoon from back in the day.
  22. I literally only take a good multi-vitamin these days. I took a few supplements (again under medical supervision) early on to help my body break the sugar addiction with less withdrawls (called "keto flu") but, other than that, I eat real food. Definitely takes more prep to do well and I need to plan ahead more but it's been worth it. You don't realize how much your body is addicted to sugar until you're not eating anywhere near as much of it. And I eat plenty well enough. Biggest thing is probably actually to hydrate. I drink close to a gallon or so of water a day, if not more. I have a bit more flexibility when it comes to overall carb count these days now that I'm almost two years in but I also have a *much* better handle on what my body actually needs/wants, so I'm just making better food choices out of habit these days than I ever used to. It was key for me to have accountability (aka a real person to talk to when I had questions or needed other helps) to really be successful as I established the better habits and looked for healthier alternatives to satisfy various cravings that tried to sneak up on me. Now, I truly feel this is something I can maintain for the long term. I mix it up, allowing myself one "cheat day" (extra carbs) every week/every other week and that actually seems to help me maintain and continue my weight loss more easily while still making sure I'm not missing out on essential nutrition or relying on supplements to get it.
  23. Looks like Meijer is getting my kitty litter money again this year.
  24. Since seemingly everyone has deals on Roku/Amazon sticks for BF, I think I may pick up both to try. Not seeing many deals on Apple TV devices (no surprise, really) so I may pass on that for now.
  25. Still waiting on Walmart and Meijer at least before figuring out my game plan.
