What is the difference between the HDTV, LCD and the other kind? Last year when hubby was in Korea I managed to put a 42" LG for $1100 on layaway. He moaned and groaned and cried like a baby that I was spending too much money, so I cancelled the layaway. I am kicking myself, because we just priced them and they are close to $2800. :yuck:

I just spoke to our px manager and she said the stores are doing gift cards and drawings for bf. She also said that she is giving away $10 gift cards on Veterans Day, so you may want to speak to your store manager and see if they are doing the same thing. :g_dance:

My 8 year old is a special needs child so I include McDonald's gift certificates in with gifts that I give my son's bus driver and bus attendant. It's just a way to say thanks. :clapping:

We are at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Our px is very small, but they are building a new one that will be ready next year. I will call the manager today and ask her a few questions, either she'll tell me or she won't .

I start the end of July only because my daughter's birthday is the beginning of August and I figure I can kill 2 birds with one stone.

I can't stand to shop with my big sis. I tried to take her with me once to BF sales. She was at my house for Thanksgiving so I offered to take her. I told her to pull out jeans and a sweatshirt so that she is ready in the morning. I woke her up and she was trying to curl her hair and iron clothes, I don't think so. When we got to the store she was complaining about how early it was and why won't they open the doors and that she was hungry. They opened the doors early so that people would warm up. She whined about coffe and donuts. They brought out coffee and donuts and then she wanted me to go and get it for her. She complained about the crowds but she didn't complain about the buggy full of bargains. She then wanted to know why we had to go to other stores. Sorry to ramble but that just toke me back. :wife:

The px(military department store) gave $20 gift cards to the first 100 people who had military id cards. They did that Friday and Saturday. I sure hope that they do it this year, because hubby is back from Korea and he will be in the line also. CHING CHING:trampolin :trampolin
