I buy batteries. I seem to stock up and I think we are pretty set for a while and the battery monster(my teenager) comes along and they are gone. Oh and I buy the big tin with flavored popcorn.

I didn't try it myself, I saw it on another site. It is my understanding that people have skipped that part and have still received the train.

I have been doing this since "94" and I just love it. I can't wait to hit the road running and get the good deals.

No one is in my area. That sounds like a great idea and I would be down to try it. What you have to remember is that we are pretty serious about bf. If you pick a store and I pick another we can get it done, meet for lunch, exchange receipts, money and merchandise and still make it home in enough time to post what happened. :lmao:

Nothing in a store is that good that I am going to climb up on the shelves or get on a ladder and get the item myself. The thought of me missing the rest of the sales on bf because I did that is too much for me.

You can always go to amazon and read the customer comments, that may help.

That is the cheapest price I've seen them anywhere.

I remember years ago when "Tickle Me Elmo" came out there were crowds everywhere looking for them. While I was in Kmart, a customer asked for one that was on the top shelf, the sales person told her she needed the ladder and went to go get it, the customer said that she couldn't wait. YES, she climbed up the shelves to get the "Tickle Me Elmo" and feel and broke her leg.

I have a friend that works for Walmart in N.C. and she gets the discount and they can shop, but only on their break or lunch time.

Maybe they will surprise you and have a better sale next week and then a "great" sale for bf.

I say do what is gonna make you more comfortable. You may have to leave really early to be in the line for some of the good deals. I would say stay in the "free" room and relax so that in the morning you are safe and ready to go.

Maybe you can ask if you can use a large clear trash bag. Go to the store and ask to speak with the manager and let them know that you will be spending "alot" of money on large items but don't have a way to get them to the checkout.

That sounds like an excellant price to me.

I sometimes stop at a store just to see what they have, especially if they have unique gift items or to pick up something small to go along with a larger gift.

If Sears has the items that you want and were giving you the gift card, I would say it's worth it.

I think once people watch the news and they show people fighting and the police, it scares them into thinking ALL of the customers at ALL of the stores must act like that and they want no part of it. My sister always says she is never going and when it is over she tells me she wishes that she went. I did take her with me once and once was enough for me. :clapping:

I think you should find out what time your Walmart is going to open. If your store opens at 6a.m., I would think you should be there no later than 2:30, but if they open at 5a.m., you may have to spend the night, lol. If they open at 5, maybe you should be there no later than 2. I am not sure what you would do if they are 24hrs.:)

I hope that they have some of these deals online, because I don't have a BBW near me.

That is a good idea, especially for single parents. If you need them to open earlier, you may be able to speak to someone about adjusting the time. It never hurts to ask. :yelclap:
