  1. I haven't gotten anything from Walmart, but hopefully I will.
  2. I have a 14 year old daughter and baby there ain't enough time in the day to tell you everything she wants for Christmas. I think that a gift card is fine, because they change their minds like the wind blows. Magazine subscriptions are good, clothing, MP3 player, IPOD, dvd's, cd's, jewelry, perfume, bbw(bathandbodyworks), gift cards to the movie theater, manicure and pedicure, items to decorate her room, trip to the beauty salon, and maybe a digital camera.
  3. At some stores "the rush" is sort of like watching the N.Y.C Marathon. If there is something you want, chances are someone else wants it also. You just have to be out there early for all of the stores that you mentioned. Oh and since this is your first bf, please make sure to wear comfortable clothes and SHOES.
  4. I would pick JcPenney or Target. You can get alot for your $50 at either store. Target will have things you can buy for everyone on your list.
  5. On bf they have sales, doorbusters AND they have the $10 coupon. Please remember that I am going off of information from when I lived on the East Coast last bf, but now I am on the West Coast, so things may go a little differently.
  6. I would wait a little longer, just in case one of the other stores plans to have it on bf.
  7. I picked 6-9 but I did not think about the driving time or time that is spent waiting for the store to open. It is easily about 12 hours or more. :bounce_fl
  8. No problem, ask away. ;)
  9. You can use one $10 coupon on one item and one transaction. You can then go to another register and use another coupon to buy another item.
  10. You may want to try TRU or call the company and see what they say. They can probably tell you what stores sell extra pens in your area.
  11. There are restrictions on specific designers i.e. JLo, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger etc. They wouldn't let me use it on costume jewelry and there was something else, but I can't remember. I had 3 coupons of my own and a young lady that was in the store gave me 4 of hers, so I did pretty well. Don't forget that there are sales going on AND you are using the coupon, so if you hit up your local 7-11 and buy all of their papers, you'll do fine. I remember buying my daughter some jeans off of the clearance rack and clearance items had an additional 40% off, so I ended up paying about $6 for a pair of L.E.I. jeans. I sure hope that the coupon and sale is the same as last year.
  12. My husband came back from Korea in July, after 13 months. He is grumpy because he is going to miss his family and he is going to miss every holiday and family event. Maybe the 2 of you can go out and do some of the things he likes to do and take pictures of it so that you can send them to him later. With the holidays kinda in his face, I can see why he's upset, but let him know that you'll miss him and he'll be fine.
  13. I kinda wish I hadn't seen this thread, because I just went thru a bad time with wanting to help out. Every year I donate things to my son's bus driver and bus aide and also 1 or 2 families at his school. My son has autism, so I know how difficult it can be at times, so I am just saying "THANK YOU" or letting them know that I was thinking about them. Well, we are stationed in Hawaii now and it can be:gd_dollar , so I decided to buy Thanksgiving dinner for 1 or 2 soldiers in my husbands unit. My husband spoke to the other squad leaders(supervisors) and they each said "We don't have a soldier that can use the help." That is such BS, but my husband can't just go to these soldiers and talk to them. I guess I will just help a family elsewhere or at my son's school.
  14. I just cashed my Christmas Savings Club in before we moved. I also save my change all year and I am very good at not dipping in it, even though my husband hasn't mastered that yet. It is so much easier for me to try and save all year versus saving at the last minute. I am floating:2cloud9: , cause I am ready to go. :gd_shake:
  15. I haven't seen it anywhere, but don't give up hope. :crossfing
  16. :yay: THANKS:yay:
  17. Last bf, I went to the px first, second to Macy's and thirdly to Penney's. I would do it in that order again, but we don't have a Penny's.
  18. I never thought about the jewelry stores on bf. I bet that I have been missing out on alot of good bargains.
  19. I talk to hubby and the other folk in the line. I sometimes read or play Tetris. You'd be surprise how many people are just like us with a mapped out game plan. I am so ready.
  20. I can't give you specific toys, but when I was in Walmart on Sunday, there were alot of toys made by Fisher Price and Playskool. They had almost the entire aisle on both sides.
  21. The coupon was good for Friday and Saturday. Our Friday sale was 6a.m.-12noon and the Saturday sale was either 7 or 8 to 12noon. Ask all the questions that you want, that is how we learn from each other and save:gd_dollar .
  22. They open either at 6 or 7a.m. It may be in the archives from last year.
  23. I really like both of these stores, but American Eagle is soooooooo expensive. Hopefully, they will have a few GREAT deals coming up soon.
  24. I have my daughter do a list of 10 items. We take the list and pick and choose what to get her. The children also get clothes. As they get older, the prices are getting crazier for clothes, so we look for bargains all year long to save:gd_dollar .
