Sorry you had a bad experience, but that may be the TRU you are going to. At my local TRU, the employees go out of their way to help you. I was there today and wanted two items on the 2 day special which were not on the shelf. I assumed they were sold out, but the sales person looked in the back for almost 10 minutes and found what I wanted. Made my day. Sometimes it is the store that makes the difference. If there is another TRU in your area, try there.

My recommendation is this... Don't be a stupid consumer and let price/cost determine which company you support. Do some research and see what that company stands for, how they treat thier employees, what they are supporting and if you agree then give them your hard earned money. If not, spend your money elsewhere.

I was in my local Target and they had diapers for 15% off in the clearance section. It was a whole aisle. I am not a Mother, so I don't buy diapers and really did not investigate what types were there. Worth checking into though.

Its a great deal, but the problem is the availabilty of the DS. Those things are just as hard to find as the Wii right now. Good Luck!!

We had some of the same problems and it seems to be related to the ventalation. once we took it off the stand and laid it down, everything worked fine. Seems like this system is very sensitive to getting air. May want to check that too.

Thanks to the original poster. I went to my local BB and they had them on the shelf, but they were marked at the regular price. When the girl rung it came up at the discounted price. just an FYI if you happen to be in the store.

Wii bundles are available at ebgames.com and gamestop.com right now for those who are still looking. They don't ship until 1/17.

It is a voucher. The "coupons" will be handed out in line prior to the store opening.

One thing I always look for is the stuff a store usually does not carry. Like all of those Christmas gift sets at Macys, for example. They are always deep discounted after Christmas. Home Depot usually has all their non-normal inventory on sale. Last year they had slow cookers marked down to $7 at my local Home Depot.

There were some ads in todays paper for after xmas. Doorbusters at JC Penneys and Boscovs. Target ad is coming out on Tuesday (I beleive)

That error happens when the system isn't getting enough ventilation.

Just some info for you.....The classic controller will only work for the older games (Gamecube, N64, etc). The Wii games will require the remote and nunchuk.

I was at my CC for a different issue, but at the customer service desk, there was a woman special ordering the computer (since they were out of stock). Might be something to look into at your local CC. Also, CC tends to get thier shipments in on Thursdays on items like this. Last time when they offered one of these cheap computers (not BF) I was able to go online early Thursday morning and my local store was showing it in stock. You could order the computer and select store pick up. Trying to offer some type of help to those looking for this. Good Luck!!!

I was at my local CC for another reason, but they did get in Wiis today but they had already sold out by the time I was there. I was more interested in the fact that the CSR stated that they don't expect another shipment until after the holidays. As far as controllers, they had the remote but no nunchuks. You can order the nunchuk from Nintendo's site, but they do not expect to ship until Dec 18. Good luck to all still in the hunt.

Never done it, but it does not hurt to ask. I would see if its possible to change your deliver option to store pick up vs. delivery. Another option.

xbox live has a lot of teenage kids on there with potty mouths.

If your children are into interactive gameplay, then I would recommend going with the Wii, but if they like higher end graphics then go with the 360.

Target had a game cube and video rocker chair combo for $88 in the ad for in-store. Don't know if it is also available on line too. Haven't seen much for game cube this year either.
