Circuit City has them advertised @ $129 this week with a free game in store. Its not a bad deal...not the best I have seen this holiday, but a decent deal since BF has passed.

The only suggestion is to keep checking. Look at stores that get the highest supply of items in your area or ones that have less traffic. Find out when your local stores get shipments in and what time of day they stock thier shelves. If you can find the product code, some places will check let you check the stock through the self scan. Other suggestion would be to call, call, and call some more. Worst case would be to purchase off eBay, but I heard a rumor that they may be another shipment around mid-December for Wii controllers. Its just rumor now, but it might be able to be confirmed as it gets closer.

I was at my Best Buy earlier and the guy confirmed that they will have Wiis tomorrow. He also mentioned that they will have the units, but no controllers.

They have the "as seen on TV" at Boscovs too if there is one in your area. Another thing too is you can find some of that stuff on eBay too if you want to try that route.

Has anyone had any luck finding one of the nunchuk controllers? these are harder to get than the wii itself in my opinion...

Best Buy sent me an email saying that they will have special deals on Thanksgiving Day and also you could preview the Black Friday Sales. Okay. I clicked on the store ad and it states that prices are valid from Thurs. 11/23 to 11/25 (unless noted differently). This brings me to my questions.... Is Best Buy going to be open Thanksgiving Day? Will the BF specials be offered online Thursday? If not, can we see what the online specials now or do we have to wait until Thursday? BTW, there is a 42" Panasonic Plasma for $999 - Is that a good TV? Thanks for your patience with my post...Hoping to find some help. Deana B

I have only delt with Microcenter in thier actual store and had no problems. I would just call your credit card company and file a dispute.

IMO BF tends to have the best deals on electronics and electronic accessories. Sometimes around the Superbowl or in the spring you can find a good deal, but you really have to keep your eyes out. Also, you can look into when new models come out, store try to get rid of thier inventory of the legacy model. The short answer - BF would be your best bet.

I just wanted to share my experience today... I waited in line at my local BB for Wii this morning. I had a couple of options between BB, CC, and Target. Target had more people in line than both, so I decided on BB figuring they too would have a large alotment. I haven't waited in line for a gaming system since the PS2 came out. It was an interesting experience to say they least from the 15 yr. old drunk kid to the rich women who bought tickets from people in line. It was all worth it though...the system is awesome. While the Wii Sports is a little hokey, I just love it. Not bad for a bundle game. They should go back to those days when you got a game with the system. If you weren't able to pick up a Wii today, don't worry...There will be plenty more deliveries in the next few weeks.

FYI...TRU did pre-sales, so you can't be sure they have additional units beyond what they presold. I honestly beleive everyone will get their hands on a Wii unlike the PS3

I think that if you are in a major city or in a suburb of a major city, you should be fine getting there around 5AM or so. I have not stood out for a system in a long time, but that is just my opinion.

Does anyone know if Samsclub online had a presale for the Wii that I missed? Went on thier site today and it says something about order now in the narrative, but there is a big out of stock for delivery posted. Looks like I missed out. Also they have removed the Wii link totally from Costco.com I may be out in line for this system after all.

I think the DS Lite at TRU is a pretty decent deal. Plus if you get it now, they are running the offer when you spend $75 or more you get a $10 gift card to use on your next pruchase before the end of the year. If you are looking for the pink color, I would get that now. I suspect that may be hard to find as time goes on. Just my thoughts.
