My list will definately be smaller than before because there is not much I want or need at this point. I did a lot of shopping early this year because I found some great deals. I will be out on Thanksgiving morning to get wrapping paper from Walgreens and then online for a while. Not sure when I am going to actually head out on BF though.

I have a list and take the print ad as back up to show a sales associate in case I can't find something. Most times I don't even end up looking at the ad while in the store.

I saw angry board stuff at Macys in the Men's section. Didn't have time to look, but they did have the plush and some other things. A little off the beaten path if this helps someone.

Question for Webcast: Best Buy has a Dynex Blu Ray Player (WiFi, Netflix and Best Buy Cinema Now included) listed in their 4 day ad for $49.99. Is this comparable to the $39.99 Toshiba listed as a doorbuster for BF? Thanks

They may have the PS3 too, but it will be specified in the ad. The Xbox may be pictured, but right underneath they will have "PS3 also available" or something along those lines.

Does anyone know if maxperks rewards can be used on gift cards?

I lile the travel mugs and flashlight ideas. How about tape measures or phone covers? Regular cups and pens would be cool too.

I think the Disney Story Books are a good price at $5. Not too much I was interested in but I think it was a decent ad.

Does amyone know what types of sales LL Bean has for Black Friday?

I think the confusion is that some colors have been discontinued. I do think it is a matter of time before they are fully disconti.ued now that the 3ds is out.

They had a new shipment of the angry birds knock on wood game about 2 weeks ago at TRU. I would check there because all the stores in my area had not sold out yet. Also, prices on ebay are around 19.99...not sure about shipping though.

I still want an easy bake oven. That was one of the toys that Santa never bought me as a kid.

I'm not sure how the let's rock elmo is going to play out, but the accessories are hard to find already. Especially the guitar. My son, 2 yrs old has to stop and play with the display at Target every time we pass by. I bought the whole set because I don't want to risk it selling out closer to the Holidays. I even bought him the matching shirt because it was so cute. BTW my son loves Elmo and anything Sesame Street. I think a sleeper toy may be the T pain microphone. It just seems gimicky (sp) enough to be hot and hard to find. Another gimicky thing that actually looks fun is the angry birds board game. It is already hard to find and backordered or out of stock most places. Those Monster High dolls seem like they will be hard to find too. I looked at them in TRU since everyone on here was talking about them and was so suprised at how expensive they are. Also, those leapster leappads are selling out or in limited supply already. Just my thoughts...

Half Priced Books 10/10/11

The only thing I have seen is a couple of deals on refurbished Nook Colors for $150. Nothing else.
