Crazy it’s already December. We have a busy week. We’re having a Christmas party this weekend with all our friends. Didn’t want it this early but working on a day that many people don’t already have holiday plans is hard. Oh well we should have 30-40 people here this weekend to celebrate. Making a few roasts, potatoes, greens beans, Mac n cheese, rolls. Guests are bringing either an appetizer or dessert. Should be a great time. We also need to finish decorating and cleaning the house all while our daughter has rehearsal for a play she’s in two times this week and dance classes tonight.

We get hot cocoa and have our family pajamas on and go look at the lights.

Something funny. When we got back from shopping on Saturday I saw something in the bottom section of our mailbox. So I walked out to get it and the mail. Reach in and pull out a local paper (free) and it has the same ads in it as the paper we paid $5 for. My guess is was there Thursday morning when we went out to get the paper and some stuff from Kroger’s we needed. DOH

Snagged another copy of Cobra Kai from Target for $9.99 this evening. Got one for our daughter and one for our nephew.

We just went to Home Depot and got one of the Blink Video Doorbells. Not expecting much for $35. Wife ordered some stuff from Kohls we are headed there to pick it up. Might jump on Amazon and get an echo show to go with the doorbell.

We went to Target, Walmart, JC Penny, ABC Warehouse, Sam’s Club and drive by many more. Only place we waited in line to check out was JCP and the line was huge the cashiers were just slow. No complaints though. We got everything we wanted and some stuff we didn’t know we wanted lol. Lots of stuff was purchased online and is already here. I got thenAirPod Pro from Sam’s so I was happy about that. Was sort of an odd system. Had to get a ticket from one guy walk up to another guy he got them, then we had to do the scan and go and checkout right there. I guess making sure you actually pay for them.

When I bought the paper the person who waited on me was like I feel bad charging you for this paper it’s $5 and super thin this year.

Just finished cooking the cranberry sauce. Waiting for it to cool so it can go in the fridge for the night. Wife made the cornbread. Tomorrow morning we start the rest. Turkey and Goose go on the smoker in the morning.

What time do I show up? Greens, fried chicken and sweet potato pie. DANG that sounds good.

We got a month of W+ will cancel after the holiday shopping is done. Will try out the free home delivery and get some gas while we have it. Used it and ordered 2 of the 40” TVs.

The 3+ weeks of sales annoys me. Would much rather go back to the way it was.
