I'm not feeling it either. I think it's because the kids are all grown up, I have no family left and my In-laws are always a hot mess at holidays (It's not Christmas until somebody cries!) which makes me hate visiting. I was thrilled when MIL cancelled Thanksgiving. I made DH promise that next year, we would take a family trip somewhere and keep gifts to a minimum.

DH is going to do it while I'm out of town the 1st weekend in December. I'm such a Scrooge, I'd put up a little table-top tree and call it good, DH on the other hand, puts up 11 trees and my house looks like a Christmas store blew up when he's done.

aaagh....Im not good at waiting. I really would like to make a plan since DH volunteered to work on Thanksgiving AND BF mornings (triple time= Ka-ching!). All I need is video games, a few dvds and hopefully a cheap TV so I've got my fingers crossed that I can do it all online this year.
