Any % off coupons for books yet at Amazon or Barnes & Noble?
bluebear replied to Fishboysmom's topic in 2017
Oh! I had forgotten about that coupon! I almost bought a book today, but got busy and forgot. I'll wait for the coupon! Thanks! -
There are none around me, but I've ordered from them the past couple years and it comes fast. I imagine there was free shipping too, because I rarely pay for shipping.

I like to talk to people. I don't do much line standing though, except for at Kohl's where I have my mom and sister. Outside line we talk to each other and others. Inside, we take turns continuing our shopping while the others stand in line. I always have a bottle of mountain dew. I don't do coffee. Mama and sister do, so we usually have to stop somewhere. And then they are trying to shop holding their coffee in one hand in Kohl's... I also bring a breakfast bar and some pretzels or other snacks. I don't have time to spend on non-shopping activities like stopping for food!

My nieces are around the same age, and also don't care for jewelry. The 14yo is becoming a makeup snob, so she'll get stuff from Ulta. They both also like to draw. Last year I got them a nice set of Prismacolor pencils. And for a birthday I got her favorite drawing pad and different highlighters. A few years ago they both got that electronic drawing board thing that hooks up to the computer. Fun socks are always nice. I got me some of these last year, then everyone liked them so much, both nieces and my sister got some too! They are so soft and warm. (they come in plain too). https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01IX3MFBW/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_12?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=9MCWGQZ532QZ4P3G954E If she has a laptop, how about a cute wireless mouse. They make them with fun designs. Or a laptop bag. Everybody loves new bags right? Speaking of bags, you could look at thirty-one gifts. Backpacks, lunchboxes, and all other shapes and sizes of bags, with the cutest designs. They also do personalization, and I'm sure I've seen a bowling ball.

I think it's gone. I looked for it earlier. Luckily I saved it as soon as it was posted, I've learned it disappears every year.

The iPhone uses the QI standard. So any charger that uses that will work. I've had a wireless charger for my phone for 3-4 years, and I love it, I can't imagine not having it. I have one at home (total of 3 between me and my husband scattered through the house), and one at work.

Based on the time she posted, I think she was talking about Fred's, not Fred Meyer. http://forums.gottadeal.com/topic/278644-fred’s-black-friday-ad-posted/#entry1358067

No, I was on a laptop. I don't use apps. They don't work on my phone. And dang, now that you say that... I can't promise that it wasn't in my cart I saw the message. But I did see it only on a specific item. In fact, it was the first thing you posted about getting the $5 kc. So I added that item, and nothing showed up, so I figured it was just going to be a surprise on pickup, and you had the inside info. But luckily I kept shopping, and the 2nd or 3rd item I added it showed. Weird.

If I were a good mom I'd get my son a new bed. The extra drawers in the one on the front would be useful. And every year I say I want that kitchen island. And every year it still won't fit in my kitchen, darn it. $.88 mountain dew 2 liters is nice.

I need the ads for the stores that are selling the weird special/custom order stuff my kids are wanting So let me know if you see them.
-
Yes, pretty good deal on iTunes, but Walgreens is still better. You get $10gc for buying $30 iTunes, so that's essentially 30% off. Dollar General is 20% off. BOGO on Command Strips is nice. I don't use them for anything, but lately I am a little obsessed with them, and want to have them. You know, just in case. I like to try and get the earbuds, for emergency replacements, but my stores sell out pretty fast. I wonder if they only have like 3 to begin with. Sometimes, they will have one left, which isn't helpful on a BOGO sale! Luckily, I have 3 stores within 2 miles of my house, so I can check around.

Since most of my stuff is ordered and delivered, i keep it in the boxes, and make a few likes of boxes in the corner of the bedroom and/or dining room. Luckily my kids have never been snoopers. When they were little I kept it in my closet or in the spare bedroom downstairs. I have a spiral notebook that I write down every thing I get my kids, even for stockings. For other people, I kinda go by memory, which sometimes is scary!!

Y'all are cracking me up!!

Yep, same as last year. I didn't even go at all last year. May not this year either. Sad, because I would always make many trips to 2-3 Walgreens. Starting at midnight. And would load up the pantry with toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, and of course the arm and hammer. We opened the last bottle of the results of my shopping trip about 5 years ago last week, and my husband is stressing. Oh well. Now I can buy more actual gifts.

Awesome, they have the little skinny Ring doorbell. I don't think I've seen that one yet .
-
Hmmm... Well, they still have the $10 GC with $30 iTunes... Assuming you have a cashier that knows how to ring it up. I figured out all the iTunes deals one year and this was the best. Not that anyone in my house has iTunes. And, they have the Welchs sparkling grape juice. I had a hard time finding that at other stores last year.

I did this at target a couple years ago. Good point about the time they might pick your order, but it worked out well for me.
-
They have 2/4 games my son wants, so they are winning so far. A couple places have Zero Dawn, but literally right before I bought it at target on their sale, I found out that in December they are releasing the "Complete Edition". So guess I'm waiting on that.
-
You're welcome! I try to plan my trip so I can "roll" most of them from transaction to transaction. Usually thanksgiving morning isn't too busy and I can do that easily.
-
If I hadn't had to buy one in March, (my mixer completely died), I would have grabbed that mixer too.

Yay. Thank you! Litter, milk bones, beggin strips, and toys like always, but looks like this year ill be adding puppy pads to my usual list. For my cat!! Does anyone see collars in there? My eyes aren't awake, so maybe I'm missing them. Mama likes to look through those every year for her animals. I can park her there, go do my other things, then grab her on the way to checkout.

I got some BBW coupons in the mail a couple weeks ago, and pretty sure at least one is good bf. I've got a dog on my lap right now or I'd go check... A couple months ago in the Sunday coupons there were some for Milk Bones and another dog treat, so I put those aside to use at PetSmart. Someone posted the Michaels coupons in another thread last night, some hood ones for there. Then of course BBB always has the 20% purchase coupon.
