Happy Easter! It's going to be sunny and in the 70s today, so pretty perfect weather here. Sorry for everyone wth snow. And spring break this week, hooray! My husband an do both work for the school system, so we have a list of projects ready for the week!

I took my grandson Tuesday, during the day. There were only a few others in there. Signs said up to 30%, but most things were 10%. But I really just wanted to take him for the sake of taking him, while I still can. He played at the train table, and looked at all the things. I interacted with 4 employees, and two were pretty mean and snotty. The cashier was very nice though. Oh, and they had Now Hiring signs up everywhere!

I don't know why everyone wants spring to come. All it does is bring stupid pollen. A-Choo!!

Hmmm... 3yo grandson is visiting this week, and I had considered taking him tomorrow to pick something out. I am okay with not very good discounts.... But not with a long line! Maybe the novelty will wear off after a few weeks and it will be better the next time he visits. My son went to one of the stores on the original 180 store list 3 weeks ago, and he said they were 50% off and no lines.

Hi! We have a Smartthings hub, have had it for a year or two now. We don't have Alexa, but it works with the Google mini fine. We set programs to do multiple things. "Hey Google, Goodnight" Locks front door, turns off porch lights, hall lights, and sets the thermostat to the desired nighttime temp.

Poor baby. And poor mama! I sure hope he gets better!

My store is 90/50% today. Found quite a bit of the dollar spot stuff so that was fun.

Mine went 70% on Saturday. I may run in today to see if it dropped again, and if anything is left. This markdown also included the stuff in the dollar spot that went out after Christmas. So I was able to grab a couple dollhouse shelves, and some felt food.

I got that cute Mickey Roadsters tent for my grandson's Mickey party Saturday. Cross your fingers for me that it comes in in time! Delivery right now says Friday -Saturday...

I have had actual dreams -more than once- of doing that. Leaving items in a weird random hidden area of a house. Weird thing is, whatever house it is in my dreams, doesn't exist!! Guess if I ever do move, I need to make sure to check everywhere!

If you go to the main Gotta Deal page, and click on coupons, it lists some store coupons. There is a 30% off that ends on Feb 19, and they tend to run about 10 days or so. And the 15% off ends on Feb 8th, so I'm guessing 30% will start maybe around the 9th or 10th.

Happy Groundhog Day! It also happens to be my grandson's 3rd birthday. And the poor baby has the flu. Sadness.

Sunday my store was 70/70. Haven't ventured out today. Of the shampoo sets I checked, some flavors were 70%, but some were still 30%, even within the same brand. So as always, be sure to scan everything.

Nope. I saw that too. My second closest store has "limited stock", so maybe I can venture there and see if they still have it.

Well, I just finished round 2. Spent 2 hours yesterday wrapping, and 3 hours today making buckeyes. I might make a batch of sugar cookies tomorrow. But I might not. I am ready to be done with all this already! Tomorrow night we are going to a friends house for dinner, and Saturday I'm going down to see my daughter and grandson for Christmas.

We are home from vacation, and as soon as the unpacking is done I'll start on cookies and wrapping. And maybe dinner. Luckily I got the buckeyes done before we left. The rest will be simple things. Sugar and chocolate chip cookies from a mix, brownies, and tiger butter.

How many times have I said I was done shopping? Well, I just got back from the store. I bought 7 gift cards, and 5 more gifts (some were photo gifts from the trip we are currently on). And I bought 2 yesterday, 2 Thursday(those won't be in until after Christmas), and 3 (to ship) on Wednesday. I guess I should have bought wrapping paper and tape while I was out, so I could wrap some of these I purchased here. So guess I wasn't done. But to be fair, I have also mentioned that I tend to shop until I'm out of time, so I had wondered how I would handle being on vacation the week before. Guess we know! I still shop!

Well, I did more shopping online last night. So much for being done! I just can't stop. So, assuming they actually arrive Saturday, I'll have those to wrap when I return from vacation as well.

So my UPS package that has supposedly been "out for delivery" every day since last Tuesday, finally was delivered today. Hooray! Waiting on one last package now. And it was marked "Package has left carrier facility" en route to my local post office, 3 days in a row, at the exact same time every day. Sigh. Hopefully it will get here one day this week! I think I will have about 6 things to wrap when I get home Sunday night.

I am so sorry budgetsRsexy. Glad you mom will be okay, and that you are able to help. Sadly, I can relate a little. My step-dad got home Friday from 2 weeks in the hospital, with 5 of those in ICU. So I did the same, put up mamas tree and put on the lights and garland. Took her dinner one night, and went and either sat with or instead of her a few times. Our traditional plans are also changing, but a little because of me. We usually have dinner and everything at my house. But we are coming back from a trip Christmas Eve, and it would be a little crazy having everyone over the next day.. Plus it will be hard for him to come over. So we're doing it at mama's, and that's bothering me a little. But it will be okay. Hope your mom recovers well, and that have a great Christmas!

Shopping is done, finished Sunday. I'm still waiting on about 4 packages. I'm a little irritated though, because 3 of them should have been delivered this week, but UPS has been so bad. One package has been "out for delivery" 5 days in a row, but I talked to a lady today that said it still hasn't been taken off the trailer. We leave tomorrow and return on Christmas Eve, so looks like I'll have a few things left to wrap. Other than those, wrapping is done, except for my grandson. I'll see him the week after Christmas, so I'll wrap his later. I'm out of room under my tree anyway. I had him almost 20 things, but today I sorted through and set aside 5 things for his birthday in 6 weeks. Buckeyes are done. I'll probably bake basic cookies while we're on vacation, or maybe next Sunday after we get home. I also hope to make some brownies, and maybe one other easy dessert candy. I can't make things too early either, or they will get eaten here as well.

Those cookies look delicious! I just made a batch of plain ole chocolate chip cookies for our not-Christmas party at work tomorrow. I asked the girl in charge today what was still needed. She said nothing, that she was telling people that have already signed up for drinks to not worry. What about desserts? Oh there's plenty, 15 people signed up! Numbers of attendees? 110. So I just made 4 dozen cookies.

Another strike against UPS. I just got a message that they couldn't deliver the package because the business was closed. But it was sent to my daughter's HOUSE. I am so irritated. I sure hope they get it to the right place Monday.

Got the first batch of buckeyes done today. They were for a gift for dinner hosts tonight. But it stupid SNOWED in Atlanta today! We only got rain and sleet, but our destination got snow, and it is expected to start getting snowy and icy later tonight. So we are staying put. So they went in the freezer, and hopefully won't get eaten before we reschedule!
