So, we're about a week out from Christmas. How is everyone doing getting ready? Is your shopping done? Everything all wrapped and under the tree? What about cooking/baking/candy making? I think I purchased my last gifts last night. I felt comfortable waiting because I was getting them from Amazon, and they have been very reliable with their shipping service. But one of the orders with 2 items shipped USPS instead of Amazon, so I'm holding my breath on those. But it won't be disastrous if they don't make it. I'm also waiting for about 5 other packages, but only a couple are gifts, and clothes at that, so it won't be a big deal if they don't arrive. I do have one order that hasn't shipped at all yet, but I knew that was risky when I ordered, so I'm crossing my fingers for that. I have everything wrapped that goes under my tree for opening at home. My daughter's are wrapped and in a pile in the "wrapping room", and I'll wrap my grandson's tonight. I'm afraid if those get under the tree I'll miss one and forget to take it when I visit next week. I haven't started any baking yet. I think I have all the ingredients, so I'll need to start the buckeyes this weekend, then cookies later in the week. Overall I feel like I'm in a good spot and about ready!

Yep, I've bought 2 sets for gifts this year, and they have that little notch. And neat that they match the keychain. Shiny!

Happy December! We're on the home stretch! Today's the day to start Advent caendars, hooray! I got a good start on wrapping this weekend, the earliest I've ever started. I have 4 more people left to buy for, so I'm making great progress. Hooray!

I'm pretty sure that the black Friday stuff (b3g3 and box) don't start online until tomorrow. I think it's available in store today though.

My husband went today, and said it wasn't crowded at all. And that people in there were being more respectful of space than at Target. I think the plan was to have more days for people to shop in store, for those that don't know what they want, and like to browse. Instead of everyone crowding in on one day. And that seems to be working, at least at my store. But I will most likely order online.

My cart wasn't cleared either, which was nice. But I was prepared and had everything and the shopping list all opened in separate tabs as well. I think this was my easiest Kohl's BF purchase.

I have gingerbread and candy and candy canes. The last few years it's been transitioning a little more towards red and white and turquoise. My entire house is actually in a gingerbread and candy theme. Sometimes I do feel like I'm getting tired of it, but then I look at the cute little gingerbread men and smile (and I totally talk to them as I'm placing them on the tree). Also, I'm pretty committed to the theme, and it would be a pain (and expense) to change it. So I try changing it up a little every so often with new solutions in different colors or styles.

Hooray! Year 4, let's go! This is easy for me, as I visit the site every day all year long. Y'all should all join us, lots going on always!

Same. My Kohl's is about 15 minutes away, but it's a difficult area to drive in, and it's the opposite direction than anywhere else I go. So id just as soon have it shipped. My mom's though is just 5 minutes from her, and not far from other things, so she does the pickup a lot.

Well I only placed 2 orders. Sheet set and blanket. I still need to buy the comforter set later. Making progress though!

I may get some dog treats, and definitely the asvenr calendar. My dog loved that last year. They've replaced the milk bones with another brand dog biscuits, like they did with the cat litter brand. (The small containers seem to be in the B3G2 sale) But I'm not sure I'll be that adventurous to change. I may do the cat litter though, as we changed from tidy cat earlier in the year, and my cat started doing better. Also, I have found in the past that everything isn't in the ad. For example, they always have the Great Choice puppy pads, but their other brand is always on sale too.

I figured as much. But those were the only 2 I looked at.

We are ready for the Xbox launch tonight, got my fingers crossed. I think we should be fine though. My sister to me yesterday that she was planning on getting a PS5 (each) for 2 of her kids. I panicked a bit at this and explained they went on sale Thursday. She had no idea, I guess she was planning to just go to Walmart casually one day and get them. So hopefully she'll be able to get at least one before Christmas. And speaking of "walking into the store", I've read that both Best Buy and Target are doing online only. You can choose store pickup, but not go stand in line at opening.

There is a banner on the Home Depot site now, "Black Friday Prices Happening Now". And all the items I've checked on my list are at the advertised price, with a couple unavailable. So if there's something you were wanting to get, you may want to check now instead of waiting until Sunday.

My order is placed. Holy cow I'm drama!! I got some towels, rugs, and shower curtain for my son's dorm. 2 outfits for my grandson, and 2 shirts for me. And 3 throws. What the heck?! I'm making blankets for everyone, what am I going to do with those? They just ways fall into the buggy. Then I needed $5.35 for the next Kohl's cash, so I got me a cute gingerbread oven mitt.

I got those last year, they are very nice!

I make shopping at Kohls so hard. Sigh. So now I know to wait until the 22nd for a couple things, so that's great. But for today. There are a few things on my list same price, plus I need an Under Armor hoodie. Do I use some of my $30 KC I have now, and negate some of the $15KC I'll earn today, or save that to add with the $30 I'll get today and use that on the 22nd? But then I'll get less KC that day... But I guess that will even out, not getting it today or not getting it then.. Also, since Under Armor doesn't allow coupons, I do usually use KC when buying those, but then see above. Sigh, every. Single. Kohls order I do this!! Please tell me I'm not the only one!
