1.94 30 pack dvd+r??? is there a limit, i want a LOT, also is this in store as well or online only, i will definitely go with them for my needs if that is the real deal.

i wouldnt wait in line for just those discs, should be plenty to go around... also staples has 2.99 after rebate 50 packs, and best buy has 2.99 after rebate 75 pack with 25 cd-rs, something to consider. I am however going to circuit city first getting several high demand items and getting there around 11 pm thanksgiving night. I would guess you can just show up whenever for the discs in the morning some time. or go around 5 when it opens.

Does anybody know the price out the door? some people were saying 249.99 but the ad scan looks like it has Circuit City Mail in Rebate next to it... can anybody confirm this please, thanks.

not sure why nobody has mentioned this but the panasonic *6x* optical zoom 5megapixel with free 256 CF Card is a very good camera and very good deal at circuit city, its 209. You can also get a free samsonite bag with it and another 512 sandisk memory card for 9.99.

my gf did the right thing for my birthday, im impossible to buy for as far as tech goes as I have almost everything already, she just got me a best buy gift card, perfect timing for black friday . that way I can get whatever I want and won't complain if she got something and I'd say omggg I could have got such a better deal on that!

don't you have to run all or most of these through a computer output...? I'm interested but thats the thing that turned me off after reading the specs. I was reading earlier that the optoma is a better picture than the toshiba.

would anybody happen to know how rebates work for say roommates? roomates all planning on getting blank dvds, but in the same house, if we have a different last name, will they give us the rebate for it? or will they say we live at the same "address" and not give it to us? i think it would be fair for all of us to be able to get them despite living in the same house, but not sure if rebate companies think the same way... any ideas let me know as I don't want to get them only to be denied rebates.

its record once, you need +RW or -RW to edit it multiple times or sessions, you can also delete the whole thing and write over all the data as much as you want. there is a sale at compusa for them 20 pack for 4.98, that should cover ya

well technically it depends on what kind of batch it is, if you are *lucky* enough to get some ritek rebranded dynex then you are okay, i got this one time and got a few hundred after i found out they were ritek but the other times were off brands, several bad experiences with friends as well...but they rebrand all kinds of different dyes. infodisc, ricoh, cmc magnetic and an31 are other brands they rebrand and all generally turn out bad burns, or will not burn at the speed they say.

is there a limit to how many of these you can get? I would like to get several laptops and mp3 players.

i have t-mobile right now, my family has nextel cingular already with two lines, it says you can add another line with the family plan link for 9.99 after the 2nd line... so thats the deal i'm looking for, now I just have to find a phone

they are 50 pack jvc at big lots, i go in there a few times a week, not really a deal, they would be if they were 100s though...man, all this crap, i think i bargain hunt too much.

it is a Kenwood (good brand) at best buy for 129.99 and for my girlfriend, the enticing thing about it is that it has built in IPOD and sirius radio jacks, i.e. you plug in the ipod and can control it from the cd player, it also plays mp3-cd discs. It also comes with free installation.

well if they are compusa *branded*4x they generally suck and are rebranded princo discs which you can get cheaper online, definitely not a deal, if they are memorex/tdk/imation which compusa is known to run on sale, then they will be fine, videohelp.com has no information on the playo, the dynex are horrible. Verbatim is a very good deal on quality discs.

i think the compusa ones, the playo and the dynex are all CHEAP media, I would not recommend it except for maybe some dvds you plan on getting rid of, it is not archival quality like named brand dye, fuji, ritek, taiyo yuden, etc. expect many coasters and skippage at the end of the discs. but with that being said, im getting a lot anyway just for that purpose.

this year since compusa opening at midnight, pretty sure going to go there at midnight then straight to best buy after that as I need several things that are 10 or less per store. I'll be there around 1am and bringing a chair.

im going for the 69.99 7" at best buy, I think it is the best deal/best brand ratio.

now *that* could definitely make you some money. Some of the sporting goods stores usually run crazy deals on them that week too haha :)

the best buy here always gives out free doughnuts and coffee to everybody in line before the store is open, so if you did it here... i doubt you'd make a profit lol.

could you put in a sim card from another company??? and is it only cingular? I don't want cingular, or t-mobile (which I have now but not under contract) I want to get on a family plan that is already open, do you think they would let you have it for adding a line? I would be a new subscriber, but the people already on the plan would not be...

depends what you are looking for really, im getting a new cell phone, laptop, desktop,lots of blank dvd discs, a car cd player, and maybe a hard drive or two and one of the 42" plasmas, they are all insane deals. a few things i have noticed is there aren't any very good digital camera cd/dvd burner or jewelry deals, i also expected somebody to run cheal dual layer dvd blanks, which i haven't seen. some of the hard drives are VERY good prices though as are the phones (if you need one) i think the main difference is just there aren't as many freebies and under 10 dollar stuff, you save a lot if you want big ticket items.

i hope so... they usually *do* they did last year...
