  1. The iLamp has one of those metal headphone jack thingies to connect (I know--love those technical terms). It works great with my daughters ipod mini--if that helps. The lamps were $15 at one Target, $7.50 at another--just keep checking. Even at $7.50 they seem to have quite a few of them.
  2. I found the iLamp on an end cap, in furniture/lamps. At one Target they were $15, at the second, they were $7.50---so the $15 is going back. Or I might get a price adjustment--give one to DH and one to DD. I've also seen them on the shelve with frames/vases/etc. Good Luck!
  3. Ran a quick errand in Target this morning and picked up a Rose Art 4 sided Lite Bright for $2.43 and an iLamp for $7.50--those were just marked down. You can connect your ipod to the lamp, it has speakers. DD will love it for her birthday in July!
  4. Thanks for posting! I picked up 12 polar bear soaps, 12 memo books, 12 confetti bath soaps, 2 snowflake ornament kits (make 12 each) and 4 beaded Christmas tree kits (3 each), along with some gold swirled sticks---all for $6.60! My DD will have a great Christmas craft party next year!
  5. I just saw a High School Musical poster at Target--they were just resetting the shelves from the Christmas clearance near towels.
  6. I stopped in today and picked up one of the red duffle weekender totes for $16.xx--originally $65. That red should stand out from my Girl Scout troop's stuff, so I will finally get MY duffle in MY tent ;-) They had a lot of items on clearance...if I didn't have to get back to the office, I would have shopped like crazy!
  7. I have used Artistic Checks for both personal and Girl Scout banking, and I have had no problems with them. Fast service, and their introductory price is absolutely cheap--2 boxes of duplicate checks with all the GS info on them were about $8, shipped...they usually have an insert in the Sunday paper.
  8. Coldwater Crrk has some summer things in their outlet section. They had a big sale last week, so I don't know what's left, but they generally have a wide sflection. And check the sports/work out area of her local sotre--I mean navy shorts are navy shorts... A lot of stores were setting out warm weather and rain things as Christmas cleared out, but we live in Southern California, no really winter type clothes unless you go to snow/ski shop. I was really surprized at the selection of coats avaliable in some places--finding a good coat here is an exercise in patience....
  9. ejpoeta I totally understand! I love the Cuisinart I got last year--it says bread baking and cooking fun to me. Vacum cleaner says work. But, honestly, DH does most of the vacuming since I have a bad shoulder. But he knows--no cleaning products, baking/crafting products--or books!
  10. The mall store was doing a second round of mark downs--long sleeve graphic tees were $3, a long sleeve deep V tunic with stripes was $5.88, jeans were $8. Good luck, everyone!
  11. Hi all! Our Target went to 90% on Christmas...but the signs still say 75%. Our picked up Christmas Cards for $1.49 (40 in the box), mini light string (50 lights) for 17 cents each (for a Girl Scout craft project), snowman metal sign ($1.99 and I love it), blue and white dotted ribbon and boxes, lots of clear mini light sets till avaliable, Christmas cards, stockings, etc. Picked up two National Geographic solar race cars...$3.74 for two cars and race track. Good Luck to all!
  12. My neighbor used Lowe's for a lot of things, and on occasion got free delivery, etc. I know at one point he signed up for a Lowe's credit card and got a huge discout (ie % off first purchase, and they really made it count). And ask around, your neighbors may have done similar remodeling and have good recommendations. Good Luck!
  13. A Cricut die cutter--and the news that DH actually price checked and got a refund when the price dropped a week after he bought it! I don't know who was more excited--DD or I, and I sure was proud of my DH!!!
  14. My DD got the pink poodle (her real poddle gave it to her :-) and she LOVES it. I picked it up at a local craft/scrap/bead store--they were on sale for $8.99....and I have seen them on ebay. Didn't think about Valentines Day, but will have to pick one up for her!
  15. Went to Target here in Southern Cal today...found Making Memories kits for $2.97--the sticker says $11.97, but now I know to scan it! I bought 3--the albums are great and with the emblishments, etc at that price I can't pass them up. They also had the snowflake photo wreath and ornaments, and the metal frame ornaments for that price. DD found gum she couldn't live without in the candy clearance, I picked up Chocolate for .74 a package (Ghiridelli). Great Deals!
  16. Thank You for posting this! Although my daughter is older and wears t shirts with her pj bottoms I will be passing this information to a couple of friends with younger childern! This is so dangerous to the childs hands and wrists. I would think they would do an immediate recall. So sorry to hear of your daughter's injury, I hope she's doing better! And your poor mother must feel terrible!
  17. I would try Big 5 sports. They have their Bearpaws on sale for $30. I love mine!
  18. If you want the Calphalon check your Target--ours has the set on clearance (in red). Sorry, I don't remember the price, just remember thinking it was a great deal.
  19. I haven't been on their website lately, but www.fabric.com usually has them, and their prices are resonable as well. Or try www.joanns.com. Good Luck! I love mine!
  20. Back from Target--don't forget to check for the Glad storage bundle (freezer bags, gallon bags and cling wrap) now $2.49 because the bags have holiday print. Glad freezer to oven baking pans (2 9x12 and one 8x8) are $2.49--and it's so much easier to take stuff to potlucks, etc when I don't have to worry about getting the pans back. Also Clorox wipes, 3 in a package for $3 and Palmolive 3 25oz bottles for $3. Oh, almost forgot, the silicone baking sheets (you put them in the cookie sheets, etc) are also 1/2 off. I love baking with those so I picked up two.
  21. Thanks to all--admin, posters, helpful folks! This has been the easiest Christmas ever, with some things set aside for upcoming birthdays. And we even saved money on things for our business! Merry Christmas and a safe, wonderful New Year to all!
  22. Woo Hoo, great custmer service! Now I really want to shop there! Congrats BEE4
  23. No price adjustments, unfortunately...but a good chance to shop again.
  24. A plate of cookies/brownies is always great. I made up meatballs and rolls in a package for our former neighbors on moving day, just so they would have something hot to eat when they were ready.
  25. Under Armour It's a high tech tshirt that you wear to wick away mositure, maintain core temperature, etc. And I only know this because my nephew has taken up running recently...either Sports Authority, Rei.com or any local sporting goods store should have them. Short or long sleeves, depending on your local weather.
