While we have a lull in the chatter here I'd just like to remind everyone to remember the shipping deadline, send me tracking numbers as soon as you ship and please let me know ASAP if there are any issues of any kind. I've not heard anything so far so I will assume that addresses were typed correctly. Thank you all for your patience and understanding as I deal with work chaos here. Thank you too to those who volunteered to be an elf!

I think I deserve more than just a truffle this year...

On Saturday I'll be ordering DD's gear for taekwondo during our schools' holiday sale (best prices of the year, but still will be a couple hundred). No waiting for Christmas on this, she needs it like 2 months ago! She also knows this IS her Christmas... that and the fact I signed her up for this. Don't want to count the total cost.

Ohhhh.... I miss being near a Meijer!!!

Ah, all is now right in the BF holiday universe... (And I agree that they'll release it very soon.)

At this point I'm looking forward to seeing ANY close to major ad! Michaels, Best Buy (for DH), Target, Walmart, etc...

I've had both, the last two years being real. No idea what we're doing this year but if I can make room somewhere to store one I'll get a fake tree and use the Yankee Candle scented icicles I saw at Cracker Barrel the other day.

That sums it up for me as well

If DH has his way it'll be Boston Market. While it's not worth it now for me to cook a whole turkey I may just do some cooking of some kind this year. But only if everyone will eat. When my grandma was still around and well it would be turkey and ham, mashed potatoes, corn, carrots, rice (don't know why), cranberry jelly, stuffing and whatever else she felt like making or buying. Sometimes I miss that.

All of the above, plus having a job. Especially one that is secure with an outstanding boss and great coworkers who truly appreciate my work and let me know it.

Me three, even if I'm not taking part in the exchanges. Rumor has it the ShiShis are trying to confiscate bits of my pay checks to fund some surprises... not too surprising given they hit the bamboo nog early. Whether they succeed remains to be seen...

And I'll have to make sure DH doesn't otherwise we're going to end up with 50 tins of cookies!

Yes, or now there are those things that buy your unwanted gift cards (kind of like a coin star machine).

I look at things this way: if it is meant to be it'll be there waiting for me. If not then oh well. Nothing is worth rushing around and possibly getting injured or worse.

Well, at least I know it's not strep and I'm not contagious. Just a few more days to sign up... I'm still undecided about signing up myself, trying to see if I can afford it.
